It breaks my heart. I read her statement. She sounds like a very nice person. So incredibly sad.

Agreed. I hope they have some clues and can find who did this.

Probably Ivymount.

I know nothing about that young man but I do know parents of kids with disabilities like autism, intellectual disabilities, and so on BEG for their children not to be mainlined into a big school like northwest, which has over 2000 students because we know what will happen to them.

And so does the school board. They just don't care.

Out of all the shit that has happened in Montgomery County recently.. this.
This makes me the angriest.

MCPS and in particular this BOE is just finding new depths daily. They are not leading this school system but instead running it into the ground. Brenda Wolff had gotta go.

MCPS has a virtual academy but you needed to request that way back in the spring to get in.

Then maybe it should have been requested because this isn't making sense. The mother is accusing MCPS of killing her child but...he went missing on Jan. 7th. He was not found murdered (in a residential neighborhood) until Jan. 25th. In the same county and same area he's from - so he wasn't kidnapped or abducted across the country or into the woods somewhere.

So where's he been for the past 3 weeks? Obviously alive somewhere. Hanging with the wrong crowd?

God you're stupid. He was probably autistic and God know what they did to him or why he wasn't found but he may have been tied to a tree for all you know. Look at him. He looks like a sweet baby. The headline said he wad bullied. Dont you DARE try to blame him or his mother.

How hard is it for people to comprehend that he went missing because he was murdered? Jesus.

I feel heartbroken for his loved ones and heartbroken for what he must have endured. And I feel heartbroken for him. He deserved to live his life.

And I feel heartbroken for the kids in this county like him who are tormented because the board of education won't help them.
And heartbroken for their parents who live with the same terror this mom did.

Where are the Principal letters about Jailyn?

Where is Monifas presser about Jailyn?

Who is wearing colors tomorrow to support Jailyns family?
