We had tacos last night
Tonight is waffles with a bunch of fruit
Honey soy chicken with broccoli and rice
Pasta with sausage and kale
Asian BBQ salmon
Pizza
“Fend for yourself” night, which usually means either Italian bread with leftover pasta sauce or grilled cheese
Hamburger BBQ
Anonymous
Cedar grilled salmon with orzo and peas
Cheese soufflé with salad
Was thinking of trying a red lentil daal recipe I saw, with rice
Hot dogs
Chicken drumsticks Buffalo style (Alton brown recipe), carrots, biscuits
Breakfast casserole (emeril recipe but I lighten it up so less fatty)

Wish my kids had broader palates! The butternut squash chickpea stew sounds great but only one of my kids would maybe eat it. I can’t make a dinner only 2 of us would eat….I try to shoot for at least 3 of us!

Split pea soup for lunch today with leftovers later in the week.

Brisket tonight.

Ground pork, onions, black beans, and other veggies with a jar of salsa over cauliflower rice.

That with leftovers probably gets me to the middle of the week.

Today we are having Italian white bean soup

For your rice noodles make a peanut stir fry. We had that last week and there wasn’t a drop leftover.

Potatoes make KFC bowls. Mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and chicken. We also had those last week.

Other meals for us:
Kung pow beef and rice
Roasted vegetables, chick peas and couscous
Tortellini, meatball soup

Pumpkin bolognese with spaghetti (should last us two meals)

Later in week: possibly a broccoli and tofu stir fry since we have so much, or homemade pizza, some kind of frozen leftovers, or takeout Indian.

Sure! I don’t really use a recipe for the stir fry, but it’s similar to this: https://damndelicious.net/2015/01/16/easy-shrimp-broccoli-stir-fry/

Potato leek soup: https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/potato-leek-soup.html

NYT chicken shawarma recipe: https://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/oven-roasted-chicken-shawarma-nytimes-25412
^ I only do half the recipe for the 2 of us, but with double the onions, and serve it over jasmine rice.

Hamburgers and tater tots
Pasta with sausage and pea
Pork piccata, carrots and brown rice
Wed and Thursday are both go into the freezer and find some leftover and eat that. I discovered quite build up of 1-2 frozen servings of this or that the other day and we need to get it under control again.
Pizza on Friday

Why is everyone on DCUM always so critical?

I bet you've never even tried Paint Hardener. It's full of antioxidents (or maybe that's anti-oxidizers....)

These all seem good except for the paint hardener.

But seriously I'm looking up the cauliflower tacos right now, and gonna take your broccoli quiche idea maybe - quiche seems too buttery and heavy for our diets right now.

Not PP but I always make crustless quiche, without butter or cream. Basically just veggies, eggs and some cheese - not heavy at all.

Turkey breast: some with sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce, some in salad with apples and celery and carrots for lunches, and some in split pea soup that I will freeze. May also make some into sweet potato chili to freeze if there are enough leftovers.

Cabbage casserole with pumpernickel bread crumbs...not everyone would like it but my family does

Black eyed peas and collards over grits

Broccoli cheddar egg bake

Honey butter mushrooms and bucatini... just saw the recipe in my times and it looks good!

Breakfast for dinner (probably pancakes) or leftover night

Takeout night, probably Chinese or Ethiopian
