| So by cutting taxes and getting rid of ABC stores….what will happen to revenue? |
Right??? A rich white man beat another rich rich man. Neither give a F about Virginia families. Both like most politicians are in it for themselves. They care about what benefits them and their rich pals. But keep fighting over BS. Fools. |

"Come on, no one thinks our state "went down the tubes." We have a budget surplus, it's America's best state for business (https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/13/virginia-is-back-a...as-top-state-for-business.html), 7th best state to live in (https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/virginia), the 4th best public school system (https://wallethub.com/edu/e/states-with-the-best-schools/5335), etc., etc."
+1. Virginia had a good thing going and parents who were angry about the pandemic screwed it all up with their emotionally based, single-issue focus. |

Youngkin signed several executive orders including one banning CRT and several repealing mask mandates.
I’m interested in the EO’s definition for CRT. People on this board and elsewhere had trouble articulating what was being taught that they disagreed with. They only agreed that it wasn’t the official definition of CRT, more of a feeling. Wonder how Youngkin’s team put that into words. |
It was never being taught anyway. Completely useless piece of paper he signed there. |
The EO will either use the official definition and be useless because it’s not taught, or it will define CRT to include other topics (maybe slavery?) that parents think make their children “feel bad”. We were repeatedly told on this board that it’s the latter. |
The Governors definition is no more teaching about slavery or MLK anymore. |
Yes anything that set off the republicans can not be taught- specially slavery. I am waiting to see how )an 6th is taught…sorry faked news up. |
It’s an executive order, so odds are it won’t define it at all and will be completely worthless, but Youngkin supporters can’t tell the difference so they will think he’s accomplished something. |

For years the republicans have fought spending money on roads. Now we have the 95 republican fiasco. Everything they do is to intentionally inflict pain and suffering on people.
I bet this yahoo right wing trumpist will privatize 85, 95 and 301 with tolls. Get ready to grab your wallets. |
OP do you live in VA Beach? If so you want to meet for coffee? |
| I sure hope it turns out that local districts can enforce their mask mandates despite the Governor telling people to opt out. |
| Glad everyone in my household is recently vaxxed/boosted, because Youngkin is about to send our case rates through the roof. |
