I remember a tea room that had luncheons when I was a child. Every time we ate there--my uncle would ask for us to bring him a tomato aspic when we returned. He loved it.

Anonymous wrote:How can you possibly compare this to chicken salad

They are both gross
I'm talking about people putting all that weird crap in their chicken salad like grapes, apples, walnuts, pecans etc. I find that really rough

You sound weird.

You're such a weirdo, tell us about yourself. I'm sure it would be fascinating.

Tomato Aspic
2 Tablespoons of unflavored gelatin
½ cup of cold water
2 ½ cups of tomato juice
¼ teaspoon of red pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of onion juice
¾ cup diced celery
Cup of chopped green pimiento stuffed olives

I wasn't talking about this aspic recipe. I was talking about this thing made from tomato soup. I heard about it on a podcast where they were trying various weird holiday recipes that listeners had sent in.

Sounds kind of like a solid bloody Mary! I'd try it. 😂

As for weird food, I just heard about raw meat sandwiches. Apparently it's a Wisconsin thing. 😳
