What’s the craziest thing you’ve smuggled into a movie theater?

I thought this thread was about items smuggled into movie theaters. Were your parents not allowed to provide a full family dinner?

I always bring my own water as I detest single-serve plastic bottles. I have never been stopped for bringing my own Hydro flask, although it also fits in my purse.

When I was more poor, I love to eat popcorn at the movies so I would pop my own popcorn at home and put it in my purse along with my drink.

While at NYU, my friends and I would go to the Sunshine or Angelika theaters on Houston Street and sneak in beers.

We went to a packed showing of Fahrenheit 9/11 at the Sunshine. We had all snuck in 40oz bottles of beer. One of my opens his beer, takes a swig and then fumbles it while trying to place it on the floor between his feet. We suddenly hear the sounds of “clink clink clink” and spraying liquid as his 40oz bottle rolls down the theater’s ramped seats. It eventually makes it to the bottom row where the bottle breaks and the person in the front row yells “What the f#ck, why are my feet all wet?!?!”

We are mortified but dead silent. Usher come into the theater to look for the culprits but we had already hidden our beers by that point.

Same with me, except 3 of my buddies. I was driving to a spot and a guy stopped me and asked if I'd help him push his car. I told him sure, then opened the trunk and got my friends out to help, too.

Bottle of champagne and 1/2 gallon of OJ. We made mimosas for a matinee.

I've taken in fast food several times.

Once, my dad and I snuck in a whole loaf of freshly baked bread (from a local bakery) and went to work! One of my favorite memories of me and my dad (obviously we are carb junkies)
