Sure. That’s a lofty and worthwhile goal. But you will never obviate the need for abortion because you will never make rape and child abuse disappear completely. So there will always be a need for plan B. |
Discussing the fact that forced birthers think children can and should bear the products of their rape is disgusting or abusive or the fact that forced birthers think this way is disgusting and abusive? Because I think it needs to be addressed, loudly, that the forced birth movement is a religious based torture program meant to cause women (and girls) as much pain as humanly possible. People who think they’re supporting the bAbIeZ should have the truth shoved in their face at every opportunity. |
| She doesn’t say it’s fine for them to do so, just that the body is designed that it’s not a risk. Someone stating a car can go 150mph with no issue is not saying it’s ok to drive 150, just that it could happen. |
She is actually saying something which is not based in medical science. Young girls are at much higher risk of several pregnancy complications. She is basically saying the opposite. If you can get pregnant, pregnancy doesn't carry significant risk (i.e. your body is ready to have a baby). This is not consistent with our best understanding of human physiology. |
You an OB? She is….. |
+1 I said upthread that real damage can be done to the body of children when they are forced to give birth. Fistulas are real. This is a ghastly, horrible and indefensible idea. The idea of forcing children to bear a lifetime of physical punishment for being raped should make people nauseated. It doesn’t seem to. |
So you think making 9 year olds give birth is a defensible idea. |
I'm a scientist...and as a scientist I know that not everything an individual scientist says (including me) is gospel truth. The medical consensus is that childbirth is riskier for young girls: https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/adolescent-pregnancy |
Pregnancy is also risky, and young girls are at a hightend need for nutrients, which the growing fetus wants, leaving both starved. Babies born to very young mothers are weak Young girls also are at high risk to miscarry. Pregnancy just is not healthy at that age |
+1 An OB/Gyn basically saying “if she’s old enough to sit at the table, she’s old enough to eat” is beyond disgusting. |
Interestingly they are not interested in addressing issues related to women's access to birth control. I would call them punish woman activists. They want a woman to be punished for her sexually. Scorned and locked away in an Irish asylum |
| I don't know why anyone cares what some random kooky lady thinks about abortion. |
|
Wasn’t there also an Ohio Dr who said the vaccine will make you magnetic?
|
Because she’s line of the cogs in the machine driving the forced birth policies in Texas and other states. |
Then there is demon sperm lady from the “Frontline Doctors” |
