Is there a pie with no eggs, nuts, or fruit?

Can you do two pies? That would make it easier to not have to meet all restrictions on one pie.

I'd do two pies -- one pudding pie (I like chocolate cream) and one fruit pie. DH can just eat the pudding pie and do whichever one the no-wheat person would prefer with a gluten-free crust. Or do a fruit pie with ice cream and DH and wheat allergy can just have plain ice cream.

Or British-style mince pies if that's not too fruity for DH? (e.g., https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/gluten-free-mince-pies but skip the almonds in the topping) (and yes these are supposed to be a christmas thing but I love them)

More pies are always a good thing on Thanksgiving, and I second the suggestion for one fruit pie + one pudding pie. If he likes chocolate maybe you could do a chocolate ganache tart instead.

I would have a few pies. I would use a good gluten free crust and make an apple pie. A pudding pie in a GF cookie crust. And just buy a pumpkin or sweet potato pie so the traditionalists have something.

You’re making this overly difficult. One pie is not going to make everyone happy. It’s Thanksgiving, have a few and let people take home the ones you don’t eat. When accommodating for dietary preferences, the idea is to have something for everyone, not everything for everyone. It’s also a great time to ask those coming with specific dietary needs to “bring a pie that you like and can eat”.

I'd buy gluten free graham crackers and make a no bake (so no egg since raw eggs aren't a thing) crust.

Then I'd fill it with some eggless chocolate pudding

Here's a recipe I found at random

and cover it with whipped cream

Note: these are random recipes, not recipes I've tried.

Gluten free pie crust. Fill with chocolate mousse or raspberry mousse. Decorate with additional whipped cream and chocolate shavings or raspberries. Two pies that are easy to make and satisfy both those who like and those who don't like chocolate.

Here are some sample recipes, but you can find others:

- someone deathly allergic to nuts
- someone allergic to eggs
- someone allergic to wheat (but will eat substitutes)

I don't like pumpkin pie, and DH doesn't like fruit pies of any kind.

My fallback is to just serve ice cream -- but a pie would be festive. Any ideas for a unicorn pie that will please everyone?

What am I missing here. If your alternative is ice cream then why don't you do an ice cream pie? Coffee ice cream pie comes immediately to mind. Or a Sherbet Pie? Or Peppermint Ice Cream Pie? All can be made without nuts, without eggs, without wheat, without pumpkin and none are fruit pies.

You can do a gluten free crust or you could do a fudge crust. Here is a simple recipe that is delicious. https://foodfunfamily.com/famous-fudge-recipe/

As someone who has 2 children with severe, life-threatening peanut/tree nut allergies, my kids would not eat someone else’s dessert. They are too worried that the person making the dessert might accidentally mis-read a label or cross contaminate. It’s too risky.

I almost always bring a dessert to share that my kids can eat (usually rice Krispy treats).

My kids never eat the birthday cakes at parties. It’s just how they manage their allergies.

Sorry, I think cheesecake has eggs. You might look for vegan recipes.
