This. And I met someone yesterday who knows him personally and professionally. He had nothing good to say about Youngkin. Thinks he will be a disaster.

Not excited.

You don't amass a net worth of $440 million by being a decent human.

I’m hopeful he’ll be more centrist than the left fears he is.

What sort of complaints about him did he have?

Glad I don't live in Virginia!

Not at all. His rhetoric about CRT and school curriculum told me that he's a liar as well as clueless, but will exploit the cultural divide in this state.
1. CRT is not being taught, never has been.
2. He has zero role over curriculum, let alone books, despite his saying that he does. He doesn't. Everyone knows that.
3. Parents are not expected to write curriculum. Nor are they able to ban books.
4. He ran on this false gasoline to entice the right wing crowd. Why, after all the progress Virginia made, would women vote this opportunist in?

I am not lying about this. The person I spoke with is in the PE world and their kids were on several sports teams together. The complaints were that He is arrogant and has no concept of how government really works.

He won't be able to fulfill most of his promises.

This is at the core.
He really did run a brilliant campaign, but it's the same campaign that all GOP's do... scare the ever loving life out of our constituents, SSI they think their precious way of life is under assault.

CRT was NEVER going to be an issue in public schools because it's only offered in college, but he terrified parents with CRT, and they fell for it.

He won't be fulfilling 90% of what he promised because he's going to play it so safe.

So don't worry Virginians, your marijuana, abortion, oh and schools free of all CRT are safe. πŸ‘πŸ»

Probably Youngkins kids were better athletes than salty person PP spoke with. And I'm sure they spent so much time talking about government a decade ago when the kids were young. Try harder, PP.

I mean it sounds like he has a right to be arrogant. He made $400 million without inventing anything or selling a physical product. Good for him.
