(Most) conservative preschools in NW/Bethesda/CC?

I’m sorry that people in this area don’t like moderate conservatives but I don’t like the idea of my very young child being taught that he is evil because he is white and that he should maybe consider being a she (at age 2). I think these are certainly topics to be addressed at a certain age but not in preschool.

I would imagine (and hope) that there are other parents in the area that would prefer the same.

Again, any specific school names would be appreciated.

So weird that you think this is happening! Just let Fox News raise your kid so they come out all paranoid and primed for a moral panic about nonexistent things too.

Huh. We're not rich enough for anything called a preschool, just cheap daycare for us, but I've never heard of anything like this happening anywhere either for us or our parent friends. Our daycare had a black history curriculum, but no one told my daughter she was evil for being white.

I have no issue with a two mom family. Or two dad family. Having two supportive and loving parents is amazing.

I would think so too, but I have heard from friends about DC preschools asking 3 year olds to choose a gender, so I’m not so sure.

I’m a moderate liberal but OP is entitled to choose a preschool that’s fits her kid and family’s needs. Full stop. Some of you crazy liberals are the ones who won’t listen to to any other perspective.
My preschooler did in fact come home from school last week hearing from another kid that Christopher Columbus was an EVIL and HORRIBLE man. (Maybe true but I found it inappropriate to her age). While it’s not part of the curriculum, they hear from the other kids. Its ok for OP to seek out what she wants in a preschool - you all clearly don’t want her in yours.

How the heck is that inappropriate? Christopher Columbus was an EVIL and HORRIBLE man. And I seriously, seriously doubt they put it that way.

OP has gotten the only honest answer: there are no preschools teaching that white people are evil. Pick any preschool you like and that'll be "conservative" if that's all you're looking for.

I don’t believe this at all

They didn't even teach it in school, the child in PP's story heard it from another child. It's not like they had a curriculum day about it - some kid heard it at home and repeated it at school. Welcome to literally every daycare or preschool anywhere. Children will repeat things they heard at home. My child apparently explained in detail where babies come from to his 4 year-old classmates. Oops.

Just tour preschools and find the right fit like the rest of us did

I believe it but I'm not scandalized by it. Oh, no, someone asked Larlo if she was a boy or a girl. If your child is cisgender, as they almost certainly are, they will reply along the lines of their biological sex and life will move on.

I think I found a school for OP's child: https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/Ayn_Rand_School_for_Tots

Which is why OP is right to surround herself with other like minded parents.
I don’t need my three year old taking about cisgender and transgender either, thank you very much. That can come along later in life. It’s too much info for a three year old.

Oh, well if that is your concern, then you can happily choose any school in the area. No one does those things.

And you think it’s funny apparently. Give people a chance to talk to their children about sex when it’s right for their family. They gonna spoil Santa tomorrow?
