They didn't even teach it in school, the child in PP's story heard it from another child. It's not like they had a curriculum day about it - some kid heard it at home and repeated it at school. Welcome to literally every daycare or preschool anywhere. Children will repeat things they heard at home. My child apparently explained in detail where babies come from to his 4 year-old classmates.
