We're coming out of a period of PCness when people went through the motion of being careful what they said in public about racial/ethnic majorities, LGBTQ, etc. because "You can't say that these days." Trump and the Repub. party gave them permission to say it loud and proud. And they're doing just that...and feeling good about it.

So you’re saying that she’s not crazy, just an open racist/bigot.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. And comfortable with it.

I am against Critical Race Theory training that is guiding teachers on how to present information.

I am not against teaching history. I am against condemning kids by the color of their skin. I taught all kinds of kids and there is one thing I know: no child benefits from being told he is a victim and no child benefits by being made to feel guilty. Compassionate? Yes.

The materials being presented in some schools is based on Critical Race Theory and "anti-racism" which is actually racist. Demonizing police in picture books for very young children is one example. Claiming that police are out attacking Black men.

This isn't an interview. It's a paid for ad. The deplorable Republicans paid to do this and it was not an off the cuff interview. Good try though. You know your ads have failed.

You are very comfortable in your racism, so you keep on keeping on.

Boy have you ever drank the right-wing Kool-Aid. Your understanding of CRT is completely wrong and it’s not guiding any teaching besides. Anti-racism is not actually racist — did right wing media give you that idea? As for police, name one title. Just one.

I can see that.

I also don’t think they need to be mutually exclusive.

Another example of demonizing police:

Woke Kindergarten which was being used as a resource in Fairfax County schools. More information can be found below:

What is wrong with teaching white children that they unfairly benefit from being white?

That they get all the benefits of white privilege, while BIPOC people are denied all those benefits?

And maybe white children need to learn it is time to check their privilege and step aside for other people to advance? What’s wrong with that?

Just stop show us proof this is being taught in schools.

You can not.

Your thoughts are absurd.

What’s the name of the full episode? I can’t seem to figure that out. Would be curious to watch it. I’m a minority. I find her refreshing. She says the quiet part out loud and isn’t hiding behind political correctness. I find people like her easier to deal with (though I disagree with her vehemently) than the liberal white PC crowd that has a white savior complex and think they can speak for me.

and the guy she's doing the law suit with uses the fake name Vito Malara on FB and twitter and has made racist remarks.

Scott Mineo, who has used the fake name Vito Malara on FB and a gofundme account, created Parents Against Critical Theory which is a right of right political web site that attacks all things not extreme right. He has joined forces with David Gordon of the Virginia Project to attack any equity training and more.

Vito aka Scott on black families:
"More than 72% of black children in the African-American community are born out of wedlock," Mineo wrote as "Vito Malara." "That means absent fathers. Ok, now we know that 72% of black kids are fatherless. So it begs the question, if they have no idea who their fathers are, how in the hell can they possibly claim their family members were slaves."

Vito aka Scott post regarding Muslims:
"These people will not assimilate, they only assassinate. How can anyone defend an ideology, not a religion, where the brainwashed murdering losers worship a man, a pedophile named Mohammad who married a 6-year-old girl."

More on Muslims"
"Moderate Muslims are like skinny fat people. In the words of a Muslim leading the charge for a completely Sharia Brussels "A moderate Muslim is like being Jewish and Muslim, not possible, doesn't exist.""

Also we have the lovely "Fight for Schools" idiots promoting dangerous crap like this
"If your children are exposed to smut in schools, file police reports against whoever gave them the book and pursue charges to the fullest extent possible. Then file civil suits against the school district. Complaining is not working. Get these people on sex offender registries"

Scott Mineo's comments about the Virginia Education association where he misidentifies people by their race:

"16 people, 3 are white and the rest are racist black supremacists. VEA is a joke. Are these the dopes that wrote the thousands of letters to that dems to keep schools closed? Take a close look, this is institutional racism we hear so much about, except these are the people in power not the white man."

I lived in historic Leesburg for years and NEVER saw a flyer.

The lady seems unhinged but I agree with her on a lot.

I'm in ACPS where they can't even teach kids how to read. How about we work on teaching kids actual core material and stopping thugs from starting massive brawls and bringing guns to school before we start spouting that drivel at impressionable children.

BS. You teach your kid to read like most of us did. Teachers do work hard on core subjects and no one is teaching CRT to any kids. Also tell us who the thugs are that start massive brawls and bring guns to your schools? I want to hear more about that.
