No I didn't vote for Trump. Nice try. Please educate yourself. |
You want me to educate myself on how you voted while you’re pushing forced birth crap and the GOP is letting thousands die because they’re too horrible to care? I decline your ridiculous offer. |
How do you define “life”? |
It’s never right for a child to be unwanted. It’s never right for a rapist to inseminate a woman. It’s never right for a fetus to have serious medical issues. It’s never right to take away a woman’s bodily autonomy. She always has control of her body. |
Exactly. How does your state define life? Do you know? |
|
A woman is pregnant. The fetus/baby is implanted in the Fallopian tube. This woman may die from the -#1 cause of maternal death in the 1st trimester. A Fallopian tube cannot support a growing fetus to air i ability outside of the womb. There is no way to transplant the fetus from the Fallopian tube to the uterus.
Is an abortion moral? |
| *survivability* |
I define “person” as someone who was born. I don’t think “life” is relevant here because it can be defined arbitrarily. If you want to use that term, define it. |
There are so many reasons abortions are not a simple choice. A Christian that believes all life begins at conception, who has had to have an abortion |

Big news: Roe lied. She wasn’t anti-abortion.
Norma McCorvey, the anonymous plaintiff in Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion throughout the United States, said she had later spoken out on behalf of the anti-abortion movement only because she was paid to do so, according to a new documentary. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/19/us/roe-v-wade-mccorvey-documentary.html |
Every attempt should be made to save the life of both. However, if that is deemed impossible, abortion would be a moral, but tragic, solution. However, this is a pretty rare situation. |
Not that rare. It is common amongst black women. BTW - There is no way to save the fetus. It can’t grow. As it grows, it rips your Fallopian tube, causes internal bleeding/eventual death and possible infertility, requiring emergency surgery. So in this case - abortion is moral..? If you know that a child will be more deformed, or there are twins connected at the head, and you use |
|
.. sorry, medical technology to save both all their life, until 50s max — or you can separate but they would both die in 30s, which act is ethical?
Life and death is never black and white, that’s all. There are a million little stories we don’t know. Most people don’t use abortion as a form of birth control. |
Why am I not surprised by this |
Yes, that is what I said above. |
