Gary Peters looks like he is going to lose his seat (MI). Nobody heard a peep out of him for 5 1/2 years. His campaign manager should be run out of town. Looks like we are going to get a conservative nut job in the Senate.

Peters is only behind by 22,000 and the stuff that still needs to be counted is good for him.

It looks like Republicans will have anywhere from 51 to 53 seats. That is enough to force both parties to work together if they want to get anything done. Maybe Biden will have better luck than he did as VP reaching out to his old Republican buddies in the Senate to get legislation passed. Checks and balances are a good thing.
