I don’t think Bullis is that good and this is supposed to be their big year.

The whole DMV is down this year and it might even be worst next year.

What's the psych profile of the "down year in DMV", "big drop off in talent", "club lacrosse ruining the sport", "nothing like the old days" poster? Happy not to live in your world. But what is it? Dad of 2nd best player on a bad team? If your team is on top you aren't saying that right? Just a very tired narrative.

Just telling the truth. Not nearly as many elite teams in DMV compared to years past and programs that have enjoyed long term success are down, if not out. This will be corroborated over the next 6 months by a lack of college commitments

God forbid you actually like the sport and are concerned at a trend that ends with it being kind of a nothingburger in the area where once it was a big deal. What about that as a psych profile? That compute?

What's the psych profile of someone who is perfectly content with the way things are and doesn't wanna be bothered with evidence that the way things are are a hot mess? Does ignorantly complacent as everything deteriorates have a DSM entry?

I agree with this. Been involved w high level private school lacrosse for 12 years. It is down. no doubt. Club results are one data point, recruiting rankings are another. Head to head outside of our area for HS lax is a third. All are trending down. It isn't off a cliff, but it's down. I am not sure why, but agree with poster above.

You may be right, or you may be suffering from old guy disease. Doesn't matter. The question is why do you and your like-minded, glory days clowns need to keep posting this conclusion? What are you trying to accomplish? Diminishing your kids', and their teammates and competitors skills and commitment? Totally repetitive and unproductive.

Lacrosse in the DMV is better now. 5-6 teams all within a goal of each other. More fun to watch than 2 top heavy teams.

That’s ugly. Big step backwards.

Monday's Games

Gonzaga - DC - (7-5) at Landon (11-1)
top 3 is up for grabs

The Heights (11-2) at St. Albans - DC - (4-7)
STA should win more games with. their roster

Benedictine - VA - (0-4) at Episcopal HS - VA - (5-5)
should be comfortable for the Maroon

Bishop Ireton - VA - (5-8) at Bishop McNamara (0-5)
relegation please

I think Landon wins 10-8

Gonzaga offense is not crisp.

STA vs the Heights is a complete toss up.

Not sure what is up with GP this spring. Just when you thought they had found their stride, they suffer defeat at home against PA Public Radnor.

Radnor is the defending PA State Champs and historically are a good program, but they aren't even in the same league as Haverford or Malvern Prep or even EA.

Prep is way too inconsistent this Spring for a team of this talent.

Something is up.
