Not sure what you are worried about with GA.

If your team stuck together (probably won’t) what difference would going GA make? If your kids are good, and the coaches have connections, that’s what matters. You are in a ECNL cult

Colleges aren't recruiting GA players

More stupidity by LS parents. The majority of D1 recruits in past five years in LC came from FCV, a top 10 in the country club by soccer.com. This all changed last year, but no other Loudoun club was producing d1 players. The entire 05/06 ga team went d1. Most of the 06/07 team did as well. EC still is one of the stars at UVA.

Well good luck getting on a VDA team. It’s already stacked. Arlington is pretty tight so the only option is to go to subpar FU Bryc ECNL which most likely gets cancellled after one year. GA will be the only option for most of the former NVA and the talent (that’s left) will get divided into two teams. Expect the top two/3 players to get picked up somewhere else. VRSC carries 22 players already so maybe Tsj is an option.

Based on non public info, it is quite possible that in 1-2 years GA could close the gap on ECNL girls and may even surpass as the preeminent club. Reach out to your GA club director and ask what these growth initiatives are.

Any current U12-U14 chasing ECNL vs GA is solely because of parent interference. It’s not necessarily what is best for the player of the team. It’s the caliber of team and coaching that matters most, especially if the player is a core player and key contributor. If the team, the coach, and player’s role are all positives, trust me, the player may not be happy with the alternative.
