um no, they have come out swinging tying Harris to Biden, especially regarding the border mess.

The number of migrants unlawfully crossing the U.S. southern border has continued to drop markedly in July, nearing a threshold that would require officials to lift a partial ban on asylum claims enacted by President Biden, according to internal government data obtained by CBS News.

July is on track to see the fifth consecutive monthly drop in migrant apprehensions along the U.S.-Mexico border and the lowest level in illegal immigration there since the fall of 2020, during the Trump administration, the internal Department of Homeland Security figures show.

In early June, President Biden invoked a far-reaching presidential authority to suspend the entry of most migrants entering the U.S. illegally, effectively shutting off access to the American asylum system outside of official ports of entry.

Illegal border crossings — which were already falling before Mr. Biden's action — plunged further after the order took effect, reaching a three-year low in June.

Try harder.

Once again, you have to look at his presidency over all three years and how many people in total he has allowed in. Not just the last minute changes he made when he started campaigning.

You also have to look at the law that Trump abused and thus over turned that Biden couldn't use, and then you ignore that there was a bi-partisan bill that Trump told the GOP to jettison so it could be used as a campaign wedge. It apparently worked on you.

President Biden’s announcement that he was dropping out of the 2024 race stunned a number of White House staffers who believed he would stay the course.

Many reportedly learned of the historic news from social media.

“We’re all finding out by tweet,” one Democrat close to the matter told Politico. “None of us understand what’s happening.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe found out about it by tweet too.

d.

Considering past threats of hellfire litigation from Apprentice producers to NDA signers and Trump's love of suing people into poverty for any frivolous thing, that's pretty huge.
After his nap.

Wow, what a burn! Meanwhile your boy fell asleep during his trial and while his kid DS were talking at the RNC.

Come on, folks. Trump needs his naps to keep up his energy. He also wears diapers, right? I mean, that's what we want out of a Presidential candidate. A senile old man in diapers. I guess that's the GOP problem now.

Everyone says he smells like poop.

Notice after lying to Americans for over 3 years, democrats think they are the righteous warriors of democracy, while talking about poop.

+1
The comments about “poop” are so on-trend for Democrats.

Do you prefer "sh.t?" Because that what people who met him say Trump smells of. True story.

“True story”? No, just LWNJ propaganda and lies. Nice try, though.

You mean Adam Kinzinger? Last I heard he has not joined the Dems, let alone any left-wing party.

The Adam Kinzinger who was embarrassed by a claim that he had farted on live TV, and so lashed out with some gross claims of his own? Oh.

“Newsweek has as yet been unable to verify Kinzinger's claims.”

Thank you!!!! I have been saying the same thing for a while now. Same goes for Hillary and Cassidy Hutchinson, who was always referred to as just Cassidy.

I’m not usually one to call out sexism but this seems pretty clear to me.

Traditionally, men were referred to by last name only while women, out of respect and to differentiate, were referred to as Ms. (or Mrs or Miss) Last name. Switching to last name only isn't great because it erases gender, so referring to important women by first name only is not disrespectful, it's just shorter than the older reference.

Why is it important to indicate gender? Women don't need to be differentiated. What a weird thing to think.

Because gender is important. To almost everyone, except for you.

Why is it important? Do you think people should be specifying their gender on the resumes?

I'm not a Dem, fwiw. And you are reinforcing why.

They do it to republican women too. Someone Sarah Huckabee-Sanders’ long ass name is always typed out and said out loud. Marjorie Taylor Green is known as Marj or Marjorie, never Taylor Green or Green. AOC will never be “Cortez” it’s a really small thing, but definitely a thing only done to women.

It’s not sexism. It’s whichever is the easier to say and most identifiable. That’s why we have Pete. Who wants to say Huckabee Sanders?

Harris is easy to say.

But less identifiable than Kamala.

Well then why aren't all male politicians called by their first names, so we know they are men?

Are you admitting that gender is important? Hmm.

No, I'm asking someone who thinks gender is important and needs to be stated why we don't call male politicians by their first names so that we all know they are men? Got an answer for that?

+2 Second to Biden, Harris is Trump’s dream candidate because she owns the border disaster. Funny you liberals can’t see that.

There is no border disaster outside of MAGA World who aren't voting for a Democrat anyway.

+1

If the border were an actual disaster, then the politicians would have actually done something about it, rather than continue for it to be a cudgel.

YES! And now TRUMP is the senile cranky grampa. Let's make something of HIS age.

And what is this rumor of J Manchin trying to switch back to a Dem to run against Harris?? He is also up there in age - 76.

He backs abortion bans, no chance.

This is completely fair as long as we can fault a certain Texas Governor for throwing immigrants on a bus and plane rides to other states....

You realize you've created an agitative situation of pitting state against state, right. That seems to be what you leftists revel in.

dp.. are you f*n kidding me? Abbott sending those people to blue states is not pitting states against states?

+1
If anything, it got those blue state leaders to wake up and demand change from Biden.

It was a smart call on Abbott’s part.

Absolutely.

To be fair, Pete is Pete instead of Buttigeig. But, sexism is the answer.

Kamala and Joe behave like children, hence the first names.

What is this nonsense you wrote? Are you even capable of shame when your orange clown literally fights celebrities on Twitter? He tried to go after SNL because he couldn't handle the jokes. Every damn thing with you people is projection. EVERYTHING. I don't even like the Dems, but are you people deranged in trying to sell Trump as anything but garbage?

So silly, have you talked to Indians and other south Asians. Many did not support Harris in '20. Like other groups many in that group also are sexist.

People have heard this weak message by Biden but it was a flop. Continuing it with a Kamala campaign won’t be any better.

If you don’t get that after the chaos of the pandemic, people are wary of an over reaching convenient, then you are the ones lost. It’s not just plastic straws. It’s mask mandates and gas stoves. All while the border is wide open, criminals don’t stay in jail, and wild spending leads to insane grocery bills. Focus on the things that matter, not micromanaging things like plastic straws.

I mean, 4 years ago, people dinged Harris because she was too tough on crime as a prosecutor. So don't worry, she's not a softie. You're good.

Americans know who exactly who she was tough on - BLACK men. Threw them in lockup for small amounts of pot. She’ll never be forgiven for creating more fatherless black families than anyone else.

Try again. She created one of the first diversion programs for small drug-related crimes.

Wait I thought she was pro enforcement. No she is ok with drug crimes not seeing jail time?

Kamala laughed about smoking weed in college while recalling sending pot dealers and smokers to 10+ years in jail and making parents go to county jail or pay 2,000 dollars if their kid had a 10% truancy rate for the year . It caused lots of legal problems for poor parents or parents with sick kids who genuinely had to miss 10% of the year. Kamala had to apologize for her truancy idea that she thought was brilliant at the time.

She’s a horrible person with horrible instincts . Trump is no Angel but he hasn’t destroyed families lives like Kamala has .

The truancy idea was great, good for the children, for their families, and for the community. They should implement here in DC - but they won't. Too soft.

It wasn’t good at all. Let’s say a child has illness that requires missing school alot. How does charging the parent 2,000 dollars or threatening county jail help matters?

She said it would stop criminality but it makes more sense to actually target child criminals with harder punishment and parental fines instead of truant kids when 10% truancy can be for many reasons out of the parents control . Some kids are bullied and don’t want to go school and some kids are constantly sick for half the flu season
