i googled the new coach they assigned three teams too,SD,he just took a new job in the Philipines a few weeks ago.that is strange.
|
Maybe it’s a short term job? |
| It looks like Herndon is not planning to have more than one team for most of the girls age groups? Do they have enough girls to fill each team next year? I think last year they did not have teams in some age groups. |
I think they are rebuilding, so the tryouts will probably give a better idea. Or maybe something will happen with Sterling. The girls tryouts for Sterling had a large gap in the pre-ecnl age groups. |
They don’t. 2 of the older girl coaches are Sterling coaches, not Herndon. |
So will they have enough if they combine Sterling + Herndon? |
| I don't think any one knows because they haven't had girls tryouts for Herndon yet so who knows how many will show up |
It's a director role at a pro (semi pro?) club there. Maybe he is already leaving that role? Agree that it's strange considering he apparently just took the job. |
| Three teams for one coach is too many. I think a lot of these assignments are place holders and agree that the Philipine thing is weird. |
There are at least 5 coaches with 3 teams. That is a lot. |
Alot of place holders I agree. The girls side has two teams that are only Sterling coaches and two that have a Herndon and a Sterling coach co-listed. My guess is alot of that is up in the air until they see how many players they can get in what ages. |
| the replacement guy for AM was bumped down to u-little teams only after taking over the u16, u13 and u12 black teams, draw your conclusions. |
I wondered about that. Were there complaints? |
Not sure about the other two teams but some 2013s are leaving. Parents chose the team for AM and were not impressed. |

As the parent of a rising HSer, I would rather have more tournaments/showcases or regular indoor winter practices then winter futsal. I don't want to pay for winter futsal.
