Say again? |
Only pro-Israel statements will not be attacked. It is interesting the similarities between the pro Israel crowds political techniques and those of the RWNJs like Breitbart, Redstate, Alex Jones, etc. One could call it a seamless transition. I wonder how many of the right wing bots are actually run from Israel? |
Plenty of people are posting about the atrocities that were done to Israelis. Nobody is posting about this child. Sadly I am not surprised that you would find a justification for the murder. Israelis could literally kill a child in cold blood on video and you would excuse it. Oh, that's exactly what just happened. |
Show me the pro-Israel statements in protests that should be attacked. |
I posted about the church explosion at the same time Netanyahu's social media guy was taking credit for it. Both of us had to retract our posts, but I think I have a better excuse than he does. |
Why do you keep saying that? All the evidence points to Israel using a thermobaric weapon. Most of the western media have agreed it was Israel. The church, refugee convoys, schools, the border crossings with Egypt, etc all targeted and hit by Israel. These are all precision ordinance with video. So these are not mistakes just a terrorist campaign against civilians. One day god will judge. |
What? Thermobaric weapon? What are you talking about? |
I don't click on videos of either side's suffering, but do we expect the next few weeks to have no casualties? I don't mean to be cold hearted at all--but wouldn't that be an absolute a cease fire? Again, I didn't watch the video so maybe you can explain for those of us who don't want to be permanently scarred by visuals what you think it shows, and how it is to be avoided in the current war? |
First of all, this took place in the West Bank which is theoretically not at war and which, of course, didn't elect Hamas. Nevertheless, settlers have been running wild and Israeli soldiers have been staging raids. Over 50 Palestinians have been killed reaching the point that Biden even spoke out about it. According to B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights organization, Israeli troops entered the refugee camp and clashes broke out. Taha Mahamid, a 15 year old, is shown in the video in a fairly well-lighted and open area kind peering down the street when he is suddenly shot multiple times with no warning. His father was also wounded. 13 residents of the camp were killed, including 6 minors. According to B'Tselem, some of those involved in the clash were armed, but neither of these two appear to be. According to the first tweet, Taha's sister was filming him to tease him. |
Hamas could literally cut a pregnant woman open and kill her unborn baby and you would NEVER post that. One sided, like I said. |
As I said, I wouldn't have to because someone else would beat me to it. But, unlike you, I wouldn't post an excuse for it. |
Thank you, how horrible for his sister and family, and how sad. I agree settlers who are illegal should be removed. As part of any two state solution, that kind of behavior needs to stop. I also have read from reputable sources that Hamas offshoots are but one of a few militant groups that have also 'set up shop' in the West Bank (https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2023/10/23/israel-arrests-palestinians-west-bank/). For this reason I also understand Israeli troops entering refugee camps to address this. If clashes break out, it gets bad fast? |
That’s heartbreaking. For reference, I am the poster with the war refugee family extended family who posted earlier about not being able to unsee the videos that Hamas posted. I’m not going to be able to forget this either. It is awful. |
I can look at exactly what the organization has done and not done, and where it chooses to spend time and where it chooses not to spend time, and draw my own conclusions. You just don’t like the conclusions so are attacking the messenger, but the hard cold evidence of organizational priorities is there, as much as you pretend it isn’t. I’m not the only one taking note of the disparity in treatment. |
That boy’s death should never have happened and it’s absolutely tragic.
Hamas does have presence in the West Bank, as well as areas of Lebanon and other places in the region, including Doha. |
