This! This! This!
Trump is flushing our taxpayer dollars down the toilet. How many billions is he spending every day? We cannot afford this adventurism.

This! +1000 he’s a dying old man checking off items on his to-do list and making sure he takes care of his bros before he croaks.

This is a war almost 40 years in the making.

Trump said in *1987* that the US should attack "horrible, horrible" Iran, "and take over some of their oil." In the years since, Trump talked about seizing oil from Venezuela, Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, and Libya.

Kuwait got in a few shots, taking down 3 American planes "by accident"

It is very confusing. The Pentagon had announced that the Israelis and Americans had achieved air superiority over Iran, but are now being told that the Kuwaitis shot down 3 F-15s over Kuwait that were dogfighting with the Iranian Air Force?

Make it make sense.

The average nationwide ticked up to $2.94 a gallon on Monday, per data from GasBuddy, and is headed toward, and then past, the $3-a-gallon mark, with the war in the Middle East that Trump launched over the weekend, without congressional approval.

While I like cheap gas, it's not a priority. With the glut of oversized SUVs and trucks hogging the roads, maybe we need expensive gas. I do care about peace. Peace seems more and more out of reach.

It was clearly a priority for MAGA voters who bought the idea that gas was cheap when Trump left office in 2021 because....checks notes...COVID crashed the economy.

Supposedly they have air superiority over Iran but are struggling to win air superiority over Kuwait. Keep in mind that this is Hegseth's military after all.

But I genuinely would like to know why there is still so much MAGA/republican support for Trump when he said he wanted us out of foreign wars? Have we already forgotten Venezuela? How is the new “democracy” working out? And now the Middle East?

Paying more for gas is a small price to pay to own the libs.

The Pentagon is lying.
This will be expensive and we’re going to be paying the tab for decades. Trump and Hegseth have just finished destroying the conditions that led to a century of prosperity for the United States.

5 days ago, sub-$3 gas was a crowning achievement of the Trump presidency. Now gas prices are not all that important.

So if Russia sent spies into America and got thousands of Americans to protest and demand the fall of the federal government... Trump would just let them continue to demonstrate? He wouldn't send the National Guard to try to put down the protests? Oh yeah that happened in multiple cities in America already.

Now imagine if Russia were able to sanction and starve Americans for a decade while devaluing their currency and sending missiles into American cities. Do you think those anti-ICE level demonstrations wouldn't become much larger and possibly violent? What then do you think Trump would do? Do you really believe he wouldn't start telling the army to put down the demonstrations by any means necessary? And you'd be cheering like the freak you are.

You're a fkn low IQ moron. You're such fkn losers that you're the kind to threaten to kill federal agents because you think you have a right to stay on stolen federal land to feed your cattle for free.

But it's the liberals, right?

Both Trump and Kegsbreath are now saying they “won’t rule out ground troops.”

I’m patiently waiting for an accurate casualty list. The administration lies about everything but they can’t hide the coffins.

It’s almost like Americans care more about what happens in America?

Now maga cares about protestors?

I’m surprised that they aren’t telling the Iranians to stop interfering with the government and that it’s FAFO.

Quite curious.

This is looking more and more like a long drawn out conflict.

It's bad for the stock market. It's going to be bad for the economy long term, because we're going to add more trillions to the national debt and shackle our descendants' economic wellbeing for generations to come. All these wars we've been involved in post-WWII have contributed to the USA not being as wealthy as we could have been.

It was an insane decision to go to war in this manner. Trump has no concept of what's actually good for the country. He thinks the Maduro kidnapping was a success - it wasn't. The Venezuela coup was for nothing: there's still an authoritarian regime in power, and the oilfields are so damaged they will take decades to be profitable, and in the meantime, the US cannot keep bullying Venezuela into accepting highly unfair and asymmetrical shares of profit.

He's making the same mistake in Iran, thinking a decapitation of the regime will lead to... what exactly? A peaceful transition to power to a more liberal government is NOT POSSIBLE. The Iraq wars tell us this much. It led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians in the region! And the end result for the US was what? Expenses in money and American lives.

THIS IS INSANE.

Will they at all? They are already whining that we aren’t spending enough money and lives protecting them.

This is the problem with dementia. Trump is largely living in the 70s (when NYC was crime ridden, when Iran was an existential threat, etc).

Or he thinks it's all one glorious UFC fight. CNN quotes him saying we're "knocking the crap" out of Iran. This is how the buffoon speaks about a deadly conflict that could result in WWIII breaking out. It's all one big UFC fight he placed a big bet on and expects to win.
