War with Iran

Anonymous
If Kamala were president, she would still be saying “Just don’t” then moving back the line daring Iran to cross it. She would move the line back and offer sweets and bribes to not cross the line.

What did Trump say? “I’ll bomb the shit out of Iran, I don’t care.”

Thank God Trump is president, not a wishy-washy, indecisive Democrat.

Predictable. Trump is intent on destroying the word economy with his vanity war! He has no plan to end this war and is attempting to bluster and bluff his way through it. He is unfit for office.

Was it the US or Israel? Either way world crude is up to $99 and Brent is $108 and climbing. Now is it $109.

LNG impacts Europe and Asia. This is a way for Trump and Bibi to help Russia and hurt Europe and Asia because they did not give Trump ships to open the strait.

Israel is dictating the pace and degree of this war. Not the US.

Trump has enabled the monster. Israel has no strategic objective besides razing Iran.

That is Israel’s goal. The complete destruction of the country followed by civilian war in which they support both sides. Oh when will poor Israel be safe from attacks?

Do you know how many t-shirts they'd sell if the Arabs started piledriving Israel? The reconquista would basically pay for itself.
No Arab country of any significance supports Iran. They are capitalist first and foremost, and know that Iran’s hatred of Israel and the West in general is bad for business. They just want sell their oil and make as much money as possible. Why do you think they host so many US military bases. They want to be rid of the IRGC and their proxies.

Guess you are not following current events?

DP. Clearly YOU are not.

Kamala was never going to be president.

The same donors that take of Trump also took care of Biden. Biden was a layup to bring Trump in.

This is on the front page: Israel Is Hunting Down Iranian Regime Members in Their Hideouts, One by One. The killings of top officials mark milestones in a fierce campaign to bring down the Tehran government.

The comment section is gleeful. It’s so obvious who is profiting from this escalation.

Donald Trump is not planning this war. This war was decided by his donors and their people in his government. They have access to futures markets and are making a killing on the volatility.

Right, Trump is not responsible for anything he does. Why do you constantly excuse him?

Because he is clearly a puppet. Not sure why you are unable to see the bigger picture. Or are you deliberately obfuscating?

Blaming Donald Trumps dumb decisions on other is obfuscation

Affixing blame on one person is convenient for those that want to conceal the truth.

Affixing blame on anonymous people is convenient for those trying absolve Donald Trump of responsibility.

They are not anonymous. We know who Trump’s biggest individual and corporate donors are. We know who he has employed in his government. We know his inner circle. It’s very clear. But thanks for trying to pin it on one man. It’s not going to work

Feel free to name the people decided to launch this disastrous war

It just shows it's important which cult the "prime minister" in your cabinet belongs to. Karl Rove is mormon, and they need as big a pool of people to attempt to convert from, while Stephen Miller is a ziontologist, and they want to kill as many of their neighbors as possible.

Karl Rove is not Mormon. Do you ever do anything other than lie?

Kamala owed her senate seat to Barbara Boxer and the elite of CA that appointed her.

If Biden has died in office she would have complied with her donors. And the guy is still ticking so she was never going to be President.

Why do you do nothing more than cut and paste the content of a tweet and the post the tweet?

Seems like a violation of this forums rules. Not sure why Jeff is allowing this poster to promote his website while violating forum rules:

“Should I post a message that contains nothing but a link to an article somewhere else on the Internet?
No. The DCUM Forums are not your Facebook or Twitter Feed. With a few exceptions, our forums are meant for discussion. If you think an article on another website is worth discussing, then please post a brief summary of the article or some commentary about the article along with the link. That will allow readers to make a more informed choice whether to click on the link.”

+1
It would be great if people would just REPORT the trolls and others who simply post “rumor has it” garbage, as well as these random tweets.

No, he was not. He was not born into the LDS church, nor is he a member of it. Here’s another source. Provide your source stating otherwise.
“Rove said the exhaustive examination of Romney's membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was unnerving for Rove, who has strong ties to Utah. Rove, who is not a member of the LDS Church, graduated from Olympus High School and attended the University of Utah.”

DP. This is completely true. The Gulf States detest Iran and want it gone.

ABU DHABI—Battered by Iranian strikes and the disruption of the Strait of Hormuz, the United Arab Emirates and some fellow Persian Gulf states have come to view Iran’s theocracy as an existential enemy. They now want the regime they once courted to be neutered, if not dismantled, when the conflict ends—so the ordeal is never repeated.

The U.A.E. has borne the brunt of Iranian attacks: More than 2,000 drones and missiles have been fired at the country since the U.S. and Israel launched the war on Feb. 28.

Over 80% of those were aimed at civilian infrastructure, including oil facilities, refineries, airports, ports, hotels and data centers, according to the U.A.E. government, killing six civilians and injuring 157 others. All six states in the Gulf Cooperation Council have, so far, refrained from striking back openly, limiting themselves to self-defense.

“This is not a military exchange. This is an attack on a peaceful nation, a nation that has been working diligently and very hard for diplomacy,” Sultan al-Jaber, the U.A.E. minister of industry and advanced technology, said in an interview.

“Any long-term political settlement must address the full spectrum of threats, including Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missile capabilities, and their network of regional proxies,” added Jaber, who also serves as CEO of the country’s ADNOC oil giant.

Iranian leaders have said in recent days that they would only accept a cease-fire with Israel and the U.S. if Tehran receives reparations and ironclad guarantees against future attacks on the regime. Iranian officials have also insisted they only target U.S. bases and interests in the region, a claim that has infuriated Gulf nations.

“Let me make it very clear. Since the Iranian attacks have started on Qatar, the threats and attacks on civilian targets have not stopped,” said Majed al Ansari, an adviser to Qatar’s prime minister. Iranian attacks caused civilian casualties in all six Gulf states, a toll that would have been much steeper if they hadn’t possessed sophisticated U.S.-made air defenses.

Given the indiscriminate nature of these Iranian barrages, and the willingness shown by Tehran to rain death and destruction on its neighbors, another senior Gulf official said, the only acceptable outcome of the war would be an Iran so defanged and enfeebled that it could never imperil its neighbors again.

The Iranian regime has crossed every red line,” he said. “Now it is in everyone’s interest, and this includes the Gulf countries, to have the U.S. finish the job. Imagine if the war stops now, and Iran declares victory saying that the U.S. has been defeated? Iran would hold the whole region hostage, and every time Iran would be under pressure, it would hit the Gulf countries—because that taboo has been broken, and hitting them worked.”

This is Israeli wishful thinking. The Arabs do not hate Iran and they do not want them gone. They want someone else gone

JFC, you are truly delusional. The Gulf States know that Iran is the enemy of all. Any sane person knows this. Get a clue.

Whereas I'm seeing Israelis packed and scrambling at Ben Gurion Airport trying to flee the country. It's pretty surprising considering that more than 95% of them wanted to fight against Iran. Why wouldn't they stay and defend their country?

Post a credible source.

The Israelis have banned media!

BS. I had no problem finding these pictures of a calm airport. No one is “scrambling.” You people are such liars.

My religion and community standards teach me to protect life regardless of ethnicity. Please do not impose your community’s standards, belief system and worldview on me. We do not have an “in-group vs out-group” belief structure.

I would never wish for the annihilation of Israel.

We have seen as clear as day what Israel has done to Gaza, the West Bank and now Lebanon. That is a society that does not value life other than themselves.
