| Churchill and Whitman will remain safe and untouched. |
I hold an IB diploma from 20+ years ago. It was rigorous. But, AP is more respected by colleges. APEX is fine. |
If they provide their own transportation? That's now how public schools work... you can't just pick which one you want if you can Uber there. |
I've noticed and this sucks. Plus the math program will be in the 'hood at Wheaton |
so it will be no where near the same level. in other words, it will be a bad school |
+1, but if you have a shot at Future WJ, you go with WJ. Looking at you Garrett Park. Nice signs on Strathmore. |
which illustrate that public schools influence property values. who wants to live in timbuktu |
The signs just say keep both sides of the street together. Don’t live there so I don’t know but it sounded like they were fine with either school. |
Yes, what many of us have to do now to get our kids needs met. We provide the transportation. It’s horrible. |
I’d take Wheaton any day over most schools. Their math teachers are really good. WJ has sp and advanced math classes so it’s a nonissue and they can more easily get to MC. They will be fine. It’s the schools with less that will be far more impacted especially if they take away Wheaton as an option. |
I would like to see all schools have as advanced math, science, engineering and computer science and if not, the class schedules aligned at every high school and bring back the virtual school and offer it through that as a dual enrollment like they do for Edison. |

Entitled GP folks actually saying “WJ is in GP DNA” - they are absolutely trying to be zoned to WJ despite the fact Einstein is a full *MILE* closer to them
Woodward will be inferior to WJ, Whitman, BCC, Chirchill, RM, Wootton and many more HS when it comes to higher level courses. Current WJ > Future WJ >> Woodward +1, but if you have a shot at Future WJ, you go with WJ. Looking at you Garrett Park. Nice signs on Strathmore. Boundaries are not made by what is closer. Einstein could have room for them if they keep Woodlin and Flora together as has been heavily advocated by those communities. |

Einstein could have room for them if they keep Woodlin and Flora together as has been heavily advocated by those communities. Einstein families don’t care and what difference would it make. The school is severely overcrowded with tons of portables. With WJ and Woodward there is plenty of room at those schools. |
