Some of this may or may not have been professional. But it does not go to the claims or defenses in this legal action. It doesn’t excuse claims of sexual harassment, defamation or retaliation (which does not require a proof of the underlying SH). That’s why people aren’t questioning it. Because even assuming it happened as reported, and even assuming it was unprofessional, it’s not relevant to this legal cases. |
I guess my point is why not? So if I am at my workplace and I run from a conference room, crying and screaming, that is objectively unprofessional behavior, and I really should not do that. If you then find out a colleague of mine tried to assault me in private in that conference room and I was running away upset….that changes things right? This is a sloppy way of putting it, but what I am saying is Justin was putting in some really untenable and unusual situations. That doesn’t explain sexual harassment, which I actually don’t think happened, but it might explain some things like he he was crying more than Blake would’ve liked, which is an allegation she made, the set was not run as tightly as it could be, there were some unprofessional things happening. it certainly seems like some of these allegations are workplace disagreements, and not on the level of harassment from Justin’s side. I know that Justin is not suing for harassment, but it seems like being berated and maybe even forced to come to someone’s private residence for meetings could be in the category of harassment. And could lead some unusual behavior from his end. It just seems like this is such an extreme and crazy situation and we’re like wow he just acted unprofessionally. Why are the same people are not questioning some absolute unhinged behavior from the other side that may have driven some of this. And I think the answer is because Blake lively is really pretty and Ryan Reynolds is really famous and they’re celebrities so they can’t possibly be harassing people? And I just see a different way. I think the power was very much in their favor, and they took advantage of that. Agree if he SH or retaliated it would not be relevant but the evident of both those things seem weak. It appears they created this totally untenable situation and then blamed Justin for it and twisted things. |
Running from assault as it's happening (like in your hypothetical scenario) is in no way the same thing as what Baldoni is accused of. Baldoni demonstrating a pattern of harassment and and retaliation is not a reasonable reaction to anything Blake is being accused of doing. |

You're forgetting the anal jokes Blake and Ryan made. They're disgusting, and if Justin had said anything similar, the pro-Blakers would be calling for Justin's head. I'd love to see what it'd look like if Justin made a complaint twisting things the way Blake did. |
Nice try, babes. No one's buying your act. At this point, if you've been in this thread and have followed the updates for as long as I'm sure you have, you've taken a side. The only true people who are not wedded to the proceedings are the ones who hear about the trial and go, "Oh shit these two are at it again. Make it stop," and then they click on the next news story. |
Ryan demonstrated a pattern of verbal abuse against Justin. Wish the defamation suit against this catty moron hadn't been thrown out. |
Are you a man? Please don’t “babes” me or any other woman in this discussion. It’s insulting. You need step back and get some air. You are bystander in this case. |
I'm not a man lmfao. I highly doubt anyone participating in this thread is a man. |
Yup, perhaps they have forgotten how many times they’ve done that before. I’m still waiting for some concrete examples of these great new evidence that Blake has presented. Because all I’ve seen (and has presented in this thread) is signs of creative differences and a loose set. |
I guess for me, I don't think either Lively or Reynolds are good people and I find Reynolds unlikeable, but I mostly agree with PP that it's not all that relevant to the claims in this case, and personally I feel like it's Baldoni that started it (his behavior leading to Reynolds yelling at him and then unfollowing Baldoni and icing him out, leading to Baldoni hiring crisis PR, which means I think Baldoni's PR was an offensive move and a retaliation campaign). But I know others think Reynolds and Lively started it by unfollowing him and icing him out and I guess manufacturing the SH side in furtherance of their goals, so to those people, Baldoni hiring crisis PR was defensive and it was Lively doing the smear against Baldoni. I understand the argument for that side, I just don't agree at this point. The other thing about that all hands meeting is from what I remember offhand, the accounts of Reynolds being so horrible are from Wayfarer people. I think there might have been one comment from someone else (an agent or a Sony exec?) saying it was the worst thing they had ever seen, but I believe that description came secondhand from someone on the Wayfarer side. If we actually start seeing texts and deposition transcripts from Sony people or others who were at that meeting and they describe Reynolds as being so unhinged, I would reconsider my position. Same as I want to hear from Lively's makeup artist and driver about some of those incidents she claims were SH. |
Just a note, lively’s make up artist is on the list of people they’ve had depositions from or are witnesses, her driver is not on any such list. Some folks on Reddit thought that strange since she did bring him up as having a concern, but he is nowhere to be found on the list so we won’t be hearing from him. |
I thought there was one labelled security somewhere. Was hoping that was him. It would not be a good look not to use him, since that was one of the claims that sounded worst, because the driver didn't want her alone with JB. |

Yes, his list is filled with crew members and people who were actually on set, and her list doesn’t include crew but includes people on her pay roll like assistants make up and people like Hugh Jackman and the girls from the sisterhood of the traveling pants. Very curious and not a great look. |
