Maybe “Trump is just like Hitler” isn’t a an effective closing argument.

+1 Regardless of who wins, comparisons to Hitler are utterly gross, inappropriate, and untrue. The Republican rally's comedian's jokes about Latinos and Puerto Rico were also gross, inappropriate, and untrue. Why can't we have campaigns without these extreme descriptions? It's not helpful in getting people elected at all.

He's probably more comparable to Mussolini.

Who was Hitler compared to before he started building ovens?

The comparisons are being made by many Democrats and news media folks to Hitler -- who was responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews. It is absurd to compare Trump to Hitler. (I voted for Harris.)

He is Hitler. Even his VP pick said he is an American Hitler. It is disgusting that you defend him but Hitler was nothing without his brownshirts.

I voted for Harris and am not defending him, but it is outrageous to say he's like Hitler.

People like Vance said it. What do you or I know?

We ALL know he hasn't killed 6 million people.

Harris has a much more difficult path to 270 than he does.

No, she really doesn't.

Harris voter here and I think she does. People really do NOT like her and I think we underestimate that.

It's not just that people don't like her, it's that people are smart enough to realize that they didn't vote for her to be the nominee and they rejected her the last time they had the chance to vote for her directly, yet "Democracy is on the ballot."

When is the last time polls were accurate? Meaning the last presidential election.

Asking sincerely.

My moderate, fiscally conservative husband believes Harris will win in a landslide. I wish I shared his bold optimism. I believe election will be so close that we will not know who wins until Nov. 7 or 8. I do hope my dear husband is correct this time.

Who will your husband vote for this election?

Yeah, I feel quite certain Trump is going to win. Are you reading the articles about women who are voting for Trump and then for democrats at the state level (to protect abortion rights)? And the pro-palestinian folks who are just not going to show up to vote because they can't stomach voting for her? And highly educated men who like JD Vance and are voting for the ticket for that reason?

People need to start preparing themselves for another Trump presidency.

A few of the states changed their ballot counting rules, so we should have a much better sense of things early morning on the 6th as compared to 4 years ago.

How would I prepare for that?

Nope.

There are thousands of GOP voters switching from Trump to Harris in PA, WI, MI.

This will be clearly evident come election day and the following days as the votes get counted.

Have you ever studied how Hitler came to power?

Here’s the deal. When you hear the name Hitler, you are thinking of 1945 Hitler and the 6 million+ dead. When historians, political scientists, and others are seeing parallels between Trump and Hitler, we are thinking of Hitler in the 1920s and beginning of the 1930’s, when he was on the rise and groups of people enabled him. He hadn’t launched the Holocaust at that date, but he was setting a lot of things in place to enable a fascist, autocratic state that squelched individual liberties, and had begun to dehumanize an entire ethnic group so that it was easier to commit crimes against humanity. Imagine if someone had stopped Hitler before he went on his horrific murder spree, early on when he hadn’t yet seemed so barbaric to many people (who hadn’t been paying close enough attention).

What happened to all the stories where everyone at the diner is a Trump supporter? If they're still out there, they don't seem to congregate anymore.

The early vote from people who haven't voted previously breaks strongly for Harris demographics. There's clear evidence of ground work on her side. Trump's too cheap to pay for any of that. The republican early vote are going to include a lot of people who've been swayed by Harris canvassers. Everything in trump's demeanor and statements suggests he knows what's coming. He's ready to resume his dotage, only a few days now.

Link to some of these many articles because you and I clearly don’t read the same sources.

Harris is going to win. There is no doubt it will be a landslide however SCOTUS will install him anyway.

This is what will happen

Red states won’t certify or states with red legislatures. It will be highly contested no matter by how much she wins. SCOTUS puts it to the house he’s installed.

Maga has no idea what’s coming and I the 1perecent and am white will be here to watch their suffering. I hope to god they get everything every hateful stupid thing they have wished on others. They are racist shits who are utterly stupid. Not like Elon has not warned them hardship is coming, they think they are safe Catholics who are MAGA are idiots.
