I am sure a lot of them will hold their nose and vote Republican, because like Democrats, they are prepared to vote for long-term policies rather than focus on the ills of their candidates.

If I were in their place, I just would not vote. And I know some people plan to do that as well.

I'm just thinking of this, because I'm sure we on the left will eventually be faced with a nonsense candidate at some point.

There are plenty of nutty candidates on the left.

Take Mandela Barnes, for one.... abolish ICE, defund police....

You are a right wing propaganda victim. Poor thing. https://madison.com/news/local/govt-and-politics/mandela-barnes-signaled-support-for-abolishing-ice-cutting-police-budgets-but-now-favors-neither/article_59135c8f-2559-568a-8d2a-251ca0e89ded.html

People are voting for the party, not necessarily the candidate. This is especially true of the GOP.

I hear lots of Democrats say, "Vote Blue, no matter who."

Every Democratic nominee is better than the Republican alternative. The only good Republicans either retired or lost the primary to a delusional fool. A random person off the street would be better than any Republican nominee.

Many of us happen to think just the opposite.
Democrats have gone bat$hit crazy. Their fiscal policies and social policies are just plain nutty and not good for voters, families, children, or anyone except liberal elites.
I will vote for *any* Republican over a Democrat at this point. Democrats are THAT dangerous.

Republicans are mostly seditious traitors, so there’s that.

So I take it you would never Vote Red Instead?

Why would I vote for someone who’s still claiming the 2020 election was stolen?

This. Crazy Traitors

Do you know how many Democrats claim (and still do) that the 2016 election was stolen?

No. Please tell me how many elected democrats claim that.

Here are some in their own words:

DEMOCRATS REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE RESULTS OF THE 2016 ELECTION

In 2017, seven House Democrats tried to object to the 2016 election electoral votes.
After President Trump’s victory in 2016, 67 Democrats boycotted his inauguration, with many “claiming his election was illegitimate.”

Look, I know it saddens you that your party is dying, but you had to cheat to win. You literally had to commit treason with Russia and get Facebook to put its thumb on the scale for you, and then Donald managed to get WI/MI/PA with surgical precision and just the amount needed not to require an examination of the vote. Trump’s whole four year fiasco of fascism was and is under a cloud of illegitimacy. And then he fomented a coup to try and stay illegitimately in office.

The difference is that what the Democrats said was true but they still accepted the result, while everything Republicans said is not true, they know it’s not true, yet they still do not accept the result.

Did Mandela Barnes spend July 4th in Moscow?
Did Mandela Barnes feed information to the Vice President in hopes of overtuning an election?
Did Mandela Barnes pass legislation that benefited him and his family to the tune of 8 figures?

Johnson is a self-serving traitor. Sure go vote for him. Our republic dies.

It makes me so sad that Ron Johnson is polling so well in Wisconsin. He’s just a rotten human being.

So is Herschel walker. The latest news is that he touts the importance of the presence of fathers as part of his family values pledge, but he has a kid he has only seen three times since 2016 and he pays the bare minimum for child support

The FBI had to warn Ron Johnson in 2020 that the Kremlin was trying to turn him into a "Russian asset" — after Johnson returned from a 2018 visit to Moscow suggesting the U.S. rethink its sanctions, and popped up repeatedly in former President Donald Trump's efforts to pressure Ukraine to find dirt on Democrats in exchange for U.S. arms.

Nope.

I wasn’t able to watch it live but reading the news reviews it looks like the format chosen by the moderators kept Walker from further imploding.

It doesn’t matter. Walker and Vance will most likely get elected. The Democrats could run a combination of Mother Teresa and the Pope against them and still get beat.

Hello. Georgia. Look at who they elect to the Senate. You are not paying attention.

In what normal universe would Warnock and Walker even be close in the polls?
