Jussie's attorney went on NBC and suggested that the brothers were wearing makeup to make themselves look white. His defense team is doing everything in its power to make sure they this case doesn't just die down. At the 6:30 point his attorney starts reasoning that the brothers were wearing makeup to make themselves look white. This is the same news anchor that did that ridiculously biased interview with the Covington kid. Even she somewhat questions the story here. Though she largely gives this nonsense a pass.

My friend sent me this. It is HYSTERICAL! The idea that African American brothers would paint their faces white is nonsense! I do wonder if some funny business went down with all three man . . . It still crosses my mind. And that certainly wouldn't be a story our Jussie would want in the press.

On a positive note, it's definitive proof to the naysayers that our justice system heavily favors certain people. And even the liberal extremists on this site want Smollett to go down, which is pretty cool.

On a positive note, it's definitive proof to the naysayers that our justice system heavily favors certain people. And even the liberal extremists on this site want Smollett to go down, which is pretty cool.

I love that Jussie got off and that he and his legal team are rubbing it in folk’s faces. The selective outrage regarding his situation is telling. Apparently, a potentially fake hate crime that simply *might* impact white Republicans is the greatest injustice out there. *This* is the only time white folks speak up. Not when black (or other) children are wrongfully killed by police. Not when the state is abusing its power. Sh*t, not even re: CPD’s perpetual incompetence on any investigating local crime. CPD when out of their way to be fully transparent to appease white ppl. You think the families of black victims locally are getting that treatment?

Truth of the matter is, Jussie’s crime of falsely blaming white ppl is as much of sin to many white ppl as murder. America in a nutshell. The browning of America can’t come soon enough.
