Taylor's Feb Rec for Crown Boundary Study

They think that the state needed to grant permission to use Wootton as a holding facility. Spoiler: they dont--they already own the building and can do whatever they want with it. They needed to get permission from the state for Crown to be used as a holding facility because of the language in the deed that required it to be used as a permanent high school. Completely different things but just like you, they can do whatever they like with the property they own.

You should probably start those refunds to your legal fund now. Oh wait - yes,you used the Q&A time to con more people out of more money. You hear that dear readers? They plugged their legal fund during the Q&A and acted like fools throughout the whole evening. Classy

What scandalous event occurred tonight? Was it recorded? 🍿

Yes, there are videos floating around. Someone will probably post to YouTube, I would imagine.

If people wanted answers, they wouldn’t have yelled over Taylor every time he tried to speak. I’m not against yelling at public officials as therapy, but let’s not pretend that the main source of obfuscation wasn’t mostly just the crowd’s own boos.

Anyone remember crazy cat lady from the Simpsons? Who else felt like that was the energy tonight?

The adult temper tantrums were for the books tonight. No wonder the behavior at Wootton is so bad.

The problem is that Taylor didn’t want to answer the questions to which Wootton families wanted answers.

If a public official was deliberately not answering your questions, at an event intended to facilitate those answers, you would be very annoyed as well.

Wake up babe, it’s not only Dufief! It’s most of us at alllll the cluster schools with young kids. We think if we don’t take crown, the Wootton building will be even worse in 5-10 years when our kids get there! I’m not Dufief but I still want to move Wootton to the crown building.

What questions? Seriously curious. I thought he did answer them, albeit not in the ways you wanted.

As if he had ability to answer with all the rude parents shouting at him. CRINGE AF, their kids would be so embarrassed.

He pre-screened questions. If he wanted to answer questions actually asked by the parents hm who attended, he wouldn’t have done that. He was trying to control the narrative like a typical politician.
