"Teachers’ role in parental rights became a topic after Brenda Diaz, a former Montgomery County Public Schools teacher turned homeschool educator, shared her opinions on parental rights during the event’s Q&A portion. She said with the lack of cooperation between parents and the schools, there will be no overall improvement.

“If we continue along this divide where the school system and parents are clashing, then we will continue to see failure in the school system,” said Diaz. “We will continue to see our children suffering."

And you have a problem with which part of what she said?

Diaz wants to end LGBTQ inclusivity. Don't you have a problem with that or are you full on MAGA Trumpanzee?

Mofor has no kids in the school system because he isn’t even married.

Diaz is Diaz

And Mandel doesn’t even have kids in the school system.

Everyone will be wasting their votes on these three.

You have to be married to have kids in the school system?

It is possible to smoke or do an occasional edible as an adult and not want weed or other drugs in schools. Certainly the case for us and among our parent friends. It is legal for adults, just like drinking. i'm sipping a glass of wine right now....don't want my underage kids to drink yet.

Something is profoundly wrong with you.

I mean I get you’re trying to cut down PP but it’s falling flat. Their take is extremely reasonable. Is the only rebuttal you can come up with an insult?

^Is this the only rebuttal you can come up with?
It isnt comedy hour for you. It was an appropriate comment and the only right one.

See this is where we differ. I don’t believe any comment I make is “the only right one.” You are certainly entitled to your opinion. But when you start slinging insults like that and insist you’re right, it’s clear there is no rational conversation to be had here.

As you sling insults under the guise of being righteous.
You are so disingenuous.

Please point out my insults.

Read your comments, disingenuous hypocrite.

So…you can’t.

Again, read your comments.

Again…so you can’t. If you could, you would.

You’re only cementing the pp’s opinion about you.

And yet - not one of you can point out my supposed insults. Continuing to say “go back and read” just cements the fact that there were no insults. If there were, you could easily have pointed them out. Which you haven’t. Because you can’t.

So M4L are they're trying to sneak in their hate & bigotry agenda by calling it parental rights?

You don’t think parents have rights with regards to their children?

DP. Everyone agrees parents have rights. Such as the right to choose whether to send your child to public or private school, or to homeschool. And the right to vote for members of the BOE. Parents, however, do not have the right to specify an a la carte curriculum for each child.
