No, anyone can investigate Democrats, but nobody can investigate Republicans. Sorry, but the Constitution is very clear on this.

I think this is incorrect because the vote is to formally launch the impeachment investigation in the House. This vote is only held in the House. When the articles of impeachment are passed then both houses vote on that.

Everything in the impeachment hearings is underscoring how the "investigation" was manufactured crap.

Manufactured not just to help Trump politically but to advance Russian interests.
