Wow. Just unfathomable. Foxx should be fired then disbarred. She is utterly incapable of doing her job. Jussie and Foxx are birds of the same feather but he is justa flunkie well connected sociopath pretender who matters not in the long run. She, on the other hand, weilds real power as th SA snd needs to be dealt with immediately. She can not be trusted to prosecute ANY case fairly, on it's merits, at this point. She is the public defender not defending the public. She is responsible for prosecuting the worst of the worst but can't be trusted to seek justice for victims if the person is connected to the right people. The people of Chicago should protest in the streets until she is fired. Corruption on full display. How is she still standing? |

They are claiming like they are treating this as any other "disorderly conduct."
But, this is not any other "disorderly conduct." This crime had the intent of sowing discord--otherwise why would he have had them scream "MAGA Country?" If he just wanted publicity, he could have just staged an attack--but, he needed to bring politics into it. Was this not a hate crime? |

| A different angle to note is that former Obama aid Tchen asked for the investigation to be moved to the FBI. Given that the goal was to control the investigation and minimize damage to Jussie Smollett, the puppet masters apparently believe that the FBI is more corruptible than the Chicago police department and prosecutors. That's a frightening thought. |

If it walks like duck. Jusse claimed hate crime and that falls under the FBI's jurisdiction. Jusse claiming publicly in a presser that he is innocent was a bad call, means an in depth federal investigation is warranted to find the "perpetrators". Hence, Trump stepping in. Jusse should have kept his trap shut. His attorneys are imbeciles to allow him that press conference. From the FBI: Hate crimes are the highest priority of the FBI’s Civil Rights program due to the devastating impact they have on families and communities. The Bureau investigates hundreds of these cases every year and works to detect and deter further incidents through law enforcement training, public outreach, and partnerships with community groups. Traditionally, FBI investigations of hate crimes were limited to crimes in which the perpetrators acted based on a bias against the victim’s race, color, religion, or national origin. |

Chilling. A great point. I still make the mistake of operating along the lines that there is blind justice in this world. Would make sense as to why the wanted it under the FBI umbrella. Geez...this country is lost. |
