The shooter was well trained. Shooting someone in the head from 200+ yards away and hitting him in the neck… this was not someone who was a weekend shooter.

DP. Hitting a target from 200 yards does require training, but there's a lot of practiced hunters and people with military training who could do it, including a lot of college aged people.

I agree. Also it's not difficult to get the basics of concealment etc. I'm former military, not a great shot comparatively speaking, but would be able to hit a 200m target.

I’m not fighting with anyone. But a PP pointed out that it seemed unusual to describe a perp as “college aged”. Since Kirk and many right wingers were/are critical of higher education, seems maybe another way to indicate the gunman’s “leftiness” without revealing who they are quite yet. That’s all.
