So good. So many Republicans want to paint a world filled with violent, scheming grifters who will knife you and rob you as soon as look at you. Those people exist, but the truth is that the vast majority of people in our communities just want to live their lives and more or less do right by each other. |
Noooo. "Most people" are looking at this as the most astonishing change of fortune that we could ever have dreamed of. An open primary would have been ugly and split people up into camps. Dems are astonishingly united at this moment. Biden timed things perfectly, Harris launched her campaign perfectly - there's always room for things to go wrong, and we are not guaranteed victory by any means. But this is a real lightning in a bottle moment in our electoral history. Most people recognize that. |
Just so goddam weird. |
A tough primary is exactly what she needed to sharpen her debate skills and get her policies in order. Right now Kamala has zero training and will be expected to defeat Trump during the first debate in Sept when she hasn’t defended her policies or record during a primary season. Primaries are there for a reason |
Basically nobody cares if there was an open primary. That's a DC Beltway hangup. |
Don’t forget the Doritos! An especially grievous act. |
| Biden did not time things perfectly. In fact, many Americans decided to vote for Trump during the first debate after they realized the media was lying to them about the Presidents health being well and news contrary to that being cheap fakes. Well, apparently it wasn’t a cheap fake |
It’s not a DC Beltway hang up. The DC beltway things the elites selecting the candidate in a so called democracy is ok. The DC beltway things Nancy Pelosi did a noble thing by staging a coup against the sitting and elected President |

Yes! We should let the amazing leaders of our two amazing parties and their amazing mega donors select our POTUS nominees every four years because that all just sounds amazing!! No, it isn't amazing. This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You are either not too bright or you're part of the wealthy and powerful group of people that benefit when POTUS candidates are chosen by the wealthy and powerful people without the voice of the American people being heard. |
No, that’s a Republican concern troll talking point. |
By all appearances it seems everything was timed perfectly. Go Kamala! |
No kidding. When Trump said "black jobs" what he really meant was: "Once we deport all those brown illegals, you black folks can get back to picking farm fields, cleaning houses and all those other menial jobs that you were restricted to for years." THAT's why his comment was so offensive. Kudos to all the AA who have rightfully trolled back on this. (My personal favorite being Simone Biles). |
