I will note that two other houses discussed in this thread - in the 1300 block of North Carolina Ave and the 600 block of 11th St - went pending after the first weekend. |
Still active a week later, so I think you're right |
$1.1 for this one! |

Went under contract in mere days so cannot wait to see how far it escalated. House has one bath upstairs and one on basement level. 450 square feet per floor...maybe. |
Looks like 649 Morton Pl NE sold for $1.025m, per Redfin |
722 4th is now off the market, as well. |
Is it just me or does it feel like there are far fewer listings than usual this Spring? Even the Fall felt busier than this. |
Battle of $1.395 million offerings that are about a block away from each other:
4 br/3.5 bath/2,970 sq. feet: https://www.redfin.com/DC/Washington/517-5th-St-NE-20002/home/9896863 3 br/2.5 bath/1,610 square feet: https://www.redfin.com/DC/Washington/335-F-St-NE-20002/home/9893206 The latter one has been on the market for 18 days now and doesn't seem to be as deep as the first (sacrificing house for patio, I guess). Feel like anything in that area at that price point that sits for that long is headed for a price drop, but who knows. |
$1.025 million dollars. 1088 square feet above ground, 450 square foot basement, one full bath up and one downstairs. No discernable backyard. No 1/2 bath on main floor. I declare the market INSANE!!!!!! |
. I disagree , this house on G street went for 1.3 million! Should’ve gone for more. 1.3 is so 2017. https://www.redfin.com/DC/Washington/1226-G-St-NE-20002/home/9909961?600390594=copy_variant&231528114=control&utm_source=ios_share&utm_medium=share&utm_nooverride=1&utm_content=link&utm_campaign=share_sheet |
Seems appropriate, no? |
That F Street house is overpriced by quite a bit. That’s the price I’d expect to pay for this house plus a finished basement with family room and guest room. As is, the house should be 1.1 million. Mark my words! |
I have to think the F Street sellers are deeply regretting their asking price after seeing a much bigger, arguably nicer house go on the market at the same price about 1.5 blocks away. |
Although the 5th st. one has actually been on the market a week. Kind of surprised it hasn't moved. |
Looks like 722 4th is back on the market -- with a higher price |
