Benjamin is not that good, and are getting elevated for beating a Millon-less McDonough team that started slow this year.

Mt. St. Joseph is having a great season after losing their 1st game by 1 to Landon, but my guess is they will falter in the 2nd half of the season as they hit the meat of their schedule.

Landon's best wins this year are Benjamin, MSJ, Saint Andrew's FL, and I guess Severn.

How do you say Benjamin is not that good this year? (They are 17-1. They beat McDonogh fair and square. I don't care if Million played or not)

I think MSJ is better than advertised. They were athletic and well coached, depth will be an issue. Will be interesting to see how the Gaels do against BL today.

Yes - Benjamin beat McDonogh fair and square, but to ignore Millon's absence when evaluating Benjamin's overall talent-level is ridiculous. Benjamin has played no one else of significance except St. Andrews, who has beaten...oh that's right - no one.

I'm not saying Landon isn't good. I just don't think they're in a tier of their own in the DMV.

Linked below is Benjamin's schedule - they have good wins over St Andrews 2x, Saint Thomas Aquinas (Aquinas is legit when you look at their results against McDonogh, Gilman and BL) McDonogh and Loyola Los Angeles. I suspect Benjamin will play Aquinas or St Andrews again in the Fl State playoffs again. To say Benjamin is not good this year is rather foolish when you look at some of the programs they beat.

I agree with you about Landon not being in a tier of their own. I do believe on any given day, Landon, Bullis, GZ and GP can likely knock each other off. Looking a head to next spring, I don't think the DMV will be any stronger based on some of the 2026's I have watched.

Blows my mind how people still list GC above DM in this forum. DM beat GC comfortably, beat SJC, took Bullis to OT. They are the real deal.

I agree with this statement almost entirely, almost being that- for the Bullis game, Bullis did not have Jackson Maher nor Cooper Revis. These two players have been game changing for the Bulldogs in recent years. No faceoffs or #1 attackman makes a difference.

I do think that DM is VERY legit this year which has been exciting to watch. It seems like most WCAC teams have some depth to an extent, especially DM.

No one is saying GC is better than DM at this point.

Not “that” good, does not mean bad. I just don’t see it as any type of signature win.

Benjamin, St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Andrew's of FL would easily be top 10 in the DC area.
