| Just had mine yesterday. Great review, but only a 3.4% raise and a 3% bonus. I work for a communications firm. You? |
| My job got moved to Manila, though I did get a very nice severance package. |
| Yes. So so review. 2.65% raise. |
|
Only? In this economy you should be very happy with that. This year the military is getting a 1.4% increase. And they risk their lives for their paychecks.
My husband and the other PMs in his office took a 5% pay cut and lost their bonuses - which was another 15% of their pay. Countdown to federal workers entering this thread and telling you how they feel about your raise . . . 3, 2, 1 . . . |
Nope, government. Eligible for bonuses, and didn't get any. No COLAs, no steps, plus furloughs. But it's OK. I hear we're all getting a 2% raise in 2011.
|
| Ask me in another week - I've been promised a promotion but not holding my breath. Hoping for a 4% raise. |
| Eeeeyah. Don't think I would be balking at anything these days, OP. Be thankful and STFU. |
PP whose job got moved to Manila. An "only" 3.4% raise/3% bonus really is an "only" if a person is already underpaid and has worked her ass off in the preceeding year. If someone is making six figures, I'm not going to weep for their pay cut. Someone going from $80K to $82K is still worse off than someone who went from $150K to $142K. |
|
$82K is a good salary. STFU and stop getting into so much debt.
|
| DH got an 8% raise but partially because of a promotion. |
Wanted to add that he's making less than six figures. . . |
|
raise, what's that? But I'm hourly and part-time - on the plus side, I upped my work hours this year and should get a little bit of a christmas bonus.
I am hoping my husband sees a raise this year since I know they are doing great (gov't contractor/suppliers). A christmas bonus should also be helpful. Not to be Pollyanna or anything, but I try not to let any of it get me down. We're blessed to be able to not worry TOO much about bills and continue to keep a roof over our heads and food in our stomachs. Not everyone can say this right now. |
| Only 1% raise, but ~10% bonus (I make about $70K working 32 hours/week). |
| I got a great review, but no bonus or raises to be had here - I'm a state employee and we're going into our third year of no raises and furloughs. If you got a raise, no matter how small, I'd say you're doing pretty well these days! |
| Great review and a 4.05% raise. And I'm grateful for it. |
