NP. I’m not on either team. I readily admit that I think Justin and Blake suck, just like a lot of Hollywood. I think Justin played a smear PR game that is common in Hollywood. One that Harvey Weinstein, and even Blake and Ryan have played themselves. It’s gross but so is Hollywood.
But my final point is that if Blake weren't a mean girl, there wouldn’t be any evidence of it. E.g. her damning interviews, etc. Just look at some of the reactions of her co-stars when they are interviewed with her. Notably, America Ferrera who seems down to earth and awesome. Or Kendrick, who dated Bill Hader, and that is all the character reference needed for me! |
Because the social media environment is much different in 2025 than 7 or even 5 years earlier. |
Flaa interviewed Blake and Anna again in 2018 and was still working as a journalist, and thus still trying to be friendly with talent/studios. No reason to post it then. Rhythym Section tanked but bad press doesn’t mean the internet was piling on her. The hatred and dislike really ramped up during the IEWU promo, with even GG crew members coming out of the woodwork. Coupled with Flaa leaving the business, it makes sense she posted it then. I’m tired of team BL’s microanalysis to justify everything. “Flaa could have posted it on the 10th of September when there was a full moon and Blake’s defenses were down, but she didn’t then, therefore, Jed must’ve told her to post it when she did.” |

I've gone back and forth on Flaa. When I read the NYT article I definitely came away with the impression that she had been hired by both Depp and Baldoni. I would have sworn that's what it said. Now I look back and, unless it was edited, they never stated that, but very carefully suggested it by putting possibly unrelated issues together and letting the reader draw the inference. I felt very taken in. I came around to thinking that Flaa had supported Depp of her own volition and then decided to release he damaging video of Blake for clicks and to lean into Baldoni coverage for clicks. Now if she actually had posted this video in 2016 and Wallace found it via his diligent "monitoring," perhaps he did unearth it.
I'm pretty much 50/50. Either possibility is reasonable. Lively's team has subpoenaed Wayfarer and their employees regarding communication with Flaa, so if there is actually anything from right before she posted that video, then I will take that as proof they coordinated it. If nothing like that comes to light I'll default to thinking it was Flaa's idea. |
I don’t have any problems, I just don’t read Norwegian. You have seem to be following conspiracy theories at this point. The journalist has come out and said she was not contacted by baldonis team and posted organically. It also seems that the video never aired prior to 2016 or at least that part of it. There’s also Candace Owens coming out and saying that she has not been subpoenaed yet Blake’s team is trying to spread rumors that they’re subpoenaed influencers. Likely to scare people. I’m tired of this misinformation being spread and I’m going to continue to call it out. |
This is what the pro-Blake side does on the neutral r/ItEndsWithLawsuits sub (and, I'm guessing, on r/BaldoniFiles, although I'm loath to visit there). It's exhausting. Like with the dance video, every askew glance from Justin is apparently riddled with creepy intent. It's fan fiction at this point. |
Tbh, I would respect the Blake side more if they just said "Sorry, I can't prove it, but I do think it was weird Flaa posted her video when she did. You can't change my mind, and it's just a gut feeling, but I feel how I feel." But when they go on these long-winding diatribes about how posting it on the 5th of May at 10:30 a.m. was actually the ideal time to post it, therefore Flaa is super suspicious, then I can't take them seriously. But I guess that's what happens when people egg each other on in communities like r/BaldoniFiles. (And tbf, there is plenty of egging on in r/teamjustinbaldoni too, where there are also some conspiracy theories floating around that are eye roll-y.) |
I think Blake is oblivious to how she comes across. In the promo TikTok released when her newest drink line came out, she is berating the waiter about how he pours the drink to preserve the carbonation, only to realize a few seconds later that this particularly beverage isn't carbonated. She can't do likable even at her own shoots. |
I saw that. She has a pathological need to micromanage. |
Reddit is now saying Owens has acknowledged receiving one. I don't watch her so I can't vouch for that. |
Again, this seems to be misinformation. Owen has acknowledged that she’s heard the rumors of being subpoenaed, but she has not been formally served at this time. Flaa has come out and said she was not in contact with Baldoni‘s team and she released the video because she saw Blake getting a lot of bad press and she wanted to get click. Blake’s team and others have come into muddy the waters to make it look like she was working with them. It is possible she will be deposed and have to say under oath whether she was or not. But at this time, we have her word and other reports from reliable media sources yet we have Blake’s team spreading crap about this and subpoenas. This is why people are suspicious that they hired former CIA. |
m Candace posted a YouTube update yesterday and confirmed she received the subpoena and read parts of it. As expected, it’s very broad in its demands. |
https://people.com/blake-lively-subpoenas-perez-hilton-candace-owens-justin-baldoni-case-11763867 This headline says she has been subpoenaed. Then when you click on the link and read the article, it says, Owens issued a statement that she has not yet received a subpoena. Could someone please explain what the fu-k is going on. Could someone post a link that says definitively she has received a subpoena? Also, why did her team hire Margarita Dawson, a lawyer that specializes in clients being investigated by the feds and the SEC? |
Someone posted a lot of details on r/ItEndsWithLawsuits. I would be surprised if this is made up.
Pasting from there: She says that BL wants records from May 2024 to present, which CO finds ridiculous and says she’ll happily give over records that are prior to when they filed a lawsuit for retaliation ie December 2024. She says that BL surely wants to find out who told CO the Scott Swift stuff, as well as who else has been sending CO “tips,” given CO long ago opened up communication for tips to be sent in by viewers/anyone who wants to share, for example a teacher telling her what Ryan was like in school (this is also the reason CO won’t be giving her those records as she doesn’t want to expose regular people, and she brings up reporter privilege). She also thinks BL doesn’t mind asking for ridiculous things that BL knows BL won’t get, so that when people say hell no, BL can be like “…See? Hiding something.” |
