Hi!
We are seriously considering putting an offer in for the homes coming up in February at Mt. Prospect With Toll. If anyone has bought in this community or any dc area toll community and is willing to chat with me I would be very grateful. We also were interested since Bethesda but not sure about the timing.
How was the process of building your home? Were you happy and did they deliver in time? We also want to use the lender we’ve used two times before and has given us amazing rates. Just wondering people’s experience if they used tolls lender.
I was so blown away by the Beauty of the homes when I saw the homes but I’m also scared by the reviews I have seen on consumer affairs. Any thoughts on the reviews? My kids will be 4 and 6 by the time we move in and was hoping there would be kids in the neighborhood.
Also if you are already living there if there is anything you felt that would be helpful in this process I would be grateful if you could share it with us.

Thanks so much! Stay safe! Nina ninaroma@yahoo.com

We were also skeptical after reading reviews, but having bought at Mt Prospect, we have been very happy. The negative reviews were not at all what we experienced. Everything has been pretty smooth and the communication is excellent. It was overall a great experience and the Toll Brothers team was excellent. The mortgage company has not been the smoothest process though, so use someone else if you have one.

I would suggest you tour some of the Toll Brother homes still under construction to see how it will actually look. Their model homes have several hundred thousands of $$$ in upgrades, professional interior designs, and custom work that's not available on Toll Brother's option sheet. Their regular houses will be a plain white box on the inside.

The custom work is applicable to any new home. Everyone has to plan for the built in or closets etc. That’s not a Toll Brothers issue. Same for upgrades…they do offer it, and honestly don’t feel it was too expensive. Furniture and decor is always on the buyer. Bottom line is yes, you can make your home look like the models, but it’ll be an added cost to consider.

Definitely not a plain white box like other person said. No matter what you buy, you’ll have to customize it the way you want. You can’t expect any builder to include built ins or decorative paneling as part of the build (unless you go full custom home). To previous poster, I’m curious…what exactly would you like to see as an option that not included and only in the model home?

What are the lot premiums for the Widmills?

Premiums are same as before. Call them if you need instead of asking here…

Wow. Prices went up again it seems…crazy that there are still 2 more phases left. Anyone know if they will offer new models with the new phases?

Looks like they increased the price of Windmills by $60K and the Hamlets by $43K

The house isn’t that much bigger than the others, it just has a large footprint because of the garage layout. Fits better on some lots than others.
