Biden’s economy

Not that I cared for Build Back Better, I was against it the whole time actually, but this is the exact same thing that happened in October when Biden crashed a meeting on the Hill for last-minute negotiations and then got on a plane to Europe for the G20 in less than 3 hours. I don't know where his head is but its not on domestic legislation lol.

Biden today: the economy is fine, there may not be a recession. Y'all need therapy though. https://apnews.com/article/biden-ap-interview-4d2c2f9015341f280d8078182601ec58

I mean seeing a million people die would mess anyone up. I don’t need therapy though thank you very much.

Build back never President Biden…

https://www.cnn.com/2022/06/16/homes/mortgage-rates-june-16/index.html

His “harsh” stance in Russia didn’t work
https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/jun/15/russia-rakes-in-nearly-20bn-from-oil-exports-in-may

Russia is flowing in cash and we’re suffering as he shits down production.

We did better under Trump when we were the energy exporters and oil was cheap and it was destroying their economy, now it’s the opposite

If you think Russia's doing great then you should move there.

Ok, how about the prices in Asia? Europe? Australia? South America? Trump supporters I know don't know what to say when they are put in place by others who live across the world. This is happening everywhere.

Don’t care and most don’t. They care about what happens here.

Long story short we could be easing the pain but Biden shut off the spigot to appease a far left base.

We could supply energy and food to the world but we shouldn’t. We should make ourselves sufficient and the rest can fight for the scraps

For the 100th time, Biden did not "shut off the spigot." Domestic oil production remains at all time highs. MUCH higher even than Bush or Reagan.

We've already been through all of that in this thread, about whether anything he's done regarding leases or pipelines et cetera harmed actual production - they didn't.

Look at how trump GREW domestic oil; now it is stagnant.

The big guy already got his; his attitude is screw the rest.

What source of information told you that domestic oil production is "stagnant?"

Whatever it was, turn it off, throw it away, stop using it, because it's completely false.

US domestic oil production is definitely NOT stagnant. It fell off under Trump during the pandemic, but has been recovering since. And rather than dropping when Biden took office, it has been rising. Current US oil production under Biden is higher than it ever was for all years 1918-2018

Is that the best ya got?

Just because this ten-ply President destroyed the economy and the left is pushing a losing battle of transgender kids and underage sex changes doesn’t mean the fact that Biden’s plan to kill the Russian economy failed - like all of his policies

Crude needs to be refined.

Biden did issue an executive order his first month in office that paused new oil and gas lease sales on government land

American refinery capacity has been on the decline in recent years, according to Fuels Market News latest Refinery Capacity Report. The report found that operable atmospheric crude oil distillation capacity in the U.S. fell from 19 million barrels per calendar day at the start of 2020 to 18.1 million at the start of 2021. It marked the first decrease in refinery capacity since 2017,

Biden’s regulations led to some closing…

This along with economic mismanagement and massive inflation due ti his spending causes this

Leases have nothing to do with refining and the leases that were canceled weren't being used. It's good for the US and good for a competitive market to not have companies sitting on leases they aren't actively using. So much handwavey nonsense not grounded in reality.

For example, what specific Biden regulation caused refineries to close? And I do mean specific. Name the section in the CFR. Name which refineries were forced to close.

Which is worse - The S&P down 23% YTD or the NASDAQ down 32% YTD?

Down 32% is worse than down 23%.

Do you have any other math problems you need smarter folks to help you solve?

With your smarts, you should help the Biden administration work on improving those stats!

What's the Republican solution? If you're gonna sling accusations and insults, how is the alternative party going to solve these things.

Why don’t you take a moment to exercise some critical thinking instead of knee-jerk whataboutism? You can’t address the issue so you resort to the first recourse of the stupid.

As long as Democrats control the House, the Senate, and the WH, there is very little the Republicans can do.
That will hopefully change after November.
