From a current talent standpoint not a needle mover. From a geography standpoint it taps an area not currently covered by a ECNL or GA team. |
We got an invite that it was the last chance to tryout. Are the older boys team done? or what? coach wont reply to emails, admins dont reply. If anyone know the older boys coaches, please ask them and post the answer here. Communication is horrible and the season has not even started. |
That sounds typical unfortunately. |
| It’s an empty merger with no benefit for Tsj. Maybe the pick up one or two practice timeslots but otherwise worthless. They maybe doing only to benefit the boys program but with the expensive pay to play model, no value. Adam maling very bad decisions again. |
This is true. They have 2014 rostered girls for next year on their 2013 team. |
Manassas soccer doesn't have any turf, not even for games. Its not an area where most can afford tsj prices. |
|
how are they still in GA?

I'm sure after this year STJ and several of the other new area GA teams will be relegated to GA Aspire and won't have a team at each age group. I feel bad for Kristin because she's awesome and the mess shouldn't fall on her. |
Is there an actual GA bylaw that says relegation or promotion will happen? |
It’s either relegation or kicked out entirely like Alexandria a couple years ago |
Basically you don't know what you're talking about. |
GA gives you 2 years to show you belong. If TSJ has a similar year as last year they will be moved to Aspire. Alexandria and McLean will have 2 years as well. Both seem to have a solid foundation (McLean more than Alexandria) and seem like they will be ok. |
Alexandria has a solid foundation? They just got kicked out of GA 2-years ago, what did they do in 2 years that they weren’t previously able to accomplish? |
The hate is strong with this one it is |
Have you seen what the local conference looks like now? TSJ will be fine. Some of the new additions saved them because they’ll be mid-tier with time to get it together. |
