Our club is building GA 1 & 2 as one program internally so that there is access to GA coaches, trainings and the other development tools so that a chasm doesn’t grow between the two culturally or developmentally. GA 2 is a pipeline and especially now there is a lot of opportunity for those players at our club if they work hard and show that potential.

That line of thinking is exactly why clubs started calling EDP teams "GA2" in the first place.

No shortage of propaganda in this thread.

Are we in the same world?

Different poster. I don’t know, but she’s really, really damn good.

It would be tough to start there (in Springfield) but have to transition to another location at u12 though if we were selected for their GA primary team.

Adam, shouldn't you be doing some sort of work? There are no 2015 or 2014 teams - they all left to VRSC in February of this year. The kids that took offers were 1. Free offers - as in, no payment required - and 2. Kids from the wildly fledgling FCV rec program which has less than 100 kids in it.

This whole thread is trying to bury the original one. It's like Russian bots.

This is the above poster. Not Adam dip$hit. They have some real talent in their 2014 and 2015 teams in Springfield. Not sure about up north, but I was talking about their South location, hence the comment about starting in south location and making the jump to another central location at u12.

FCV South is still fairly solid on the girl's side. The North is just flatlined due to the exodus of the younger girls teams to surrounding clubs. Now they have a "central" Chantilly section they're trying to grow -- which just seems to be cannibalistic from a business standpoint.

It's going to take a long while to regrow what they lost.

FCV South is still solid. FCV North is going through welcome changes. I think it’s a good fit for parents that want to be part of something fresh and who value an international training philosophy.

As another poster stated, CC is international as well. But, CC was technical director. BC is only over GA. Last I checked, AB was not international. So, yes. If you daughter is U13+, then yes, another international. If your child is a boy, or a daughter U12 and below this is not applicable.

I hope this new thread does bury the old one. And no I'm not a russian bot, AB, or BC. I am glad that everyone sucking the ED teet has moved on. I think everyone that jumped to Rev with nothing but a promise is in for a rude awakening. But, I hope it all turns out just as they hope. What they don't understand is that Rev already had a crew of egomaniacs running everything and they aren't going to just lay down and let a new regime walk all over them. There will be many transition pains there as well that a barely cool bar and a stupid parking lot will not make up for. All of the players did not leave. Summer training is mainly club jerseys so you do the math. Not everyone should believe what they read from a bunch of disgruntled exiters. Yes, there are issues as with any club. Yes, they will be in a rebuilding phase. But, everything that has been seen so far has been great. Only time will tell if it is all PR spinning or reality. But, I am hopeful.

Did VRSC lose a bunch of players as a result of FCV coming in? Did they just add teams or replace players on teams? I would be pretty annoyed to be on x team and then a bunch of people waltz in and replace teammates. Yes, its competitive and people get moved down etc. But there would still be residual cultural components to work thru for the people that are legacy VRSC and the incoming girls. Ask anyone who has been thru a badly handled merger/acquisition.
