What’s going on with the boys side. It looks like their oldest boys MLSNext2 did really well and a few other age groups have done well too?

Are the MLSNext 2 rosters for next year filled up? Are the coaches sticking around or leaving? Seems like a lot of turnover at TSJ.

Yes the entire ship is sinking. I feel bad for the families that have no clue and are accepting offers.

Boys on MLSNext 2 teams are leaving? Where are they going? Other MLS2 or ECNL/RL?

STJ hasn't even announced the boys coaching.

Are people leaving because they didn't like the coaching, or other factors?

My dude, read the room. The st james soccer program is a disaster down to every last nook and cranny. Right now, it exists solely for parents of bad players who wanted to purchase the ability to say their kid is on a top team. The club was happy to use the parents as a ATM. Next year the club cannot offer even the “top team” badge. Without soccer or accolades to sell, the club has fallen apart. AB has not simply ground the club into the ground but buried it six feet under. It’s done, it’s cooked, and anyone who stays is the butt of every joke.

The MLS next badge on the boys side is still a lure, even though its B team.

The problems on the girls side have been discussed ad nauseam. The boys never offered the top team badge in the first place and seemed to do fine in their league. So wondering if people are still leaving en masse and is so why. Not everything has to be turned back to girls soccer please.

All clubs are at capacity so what are you even talking about?

Where are all these kids going when I saw at least 50 SYC MLS next academy jerseys at St James tryouts?

This is true. Non MLS Next players will leave their clubs just to play on a MLS Next team. Happens all the time. Clubs who overlook lower level team players bring in outside players to MLS next all the time. This, makes the passed over players upset and they switch clubs. SYC has tons of outside kids constantly attending 1st and 2nd team practices. This makes the high quality 3rd team kids leave for other clubs.

multiple places. The U17 team arguably the best group is losing multiple players
