If some of you guys actually think law enforcement or Banfield is following this thread get over yourselves. Have you read some of these posts? Literally nothing but wild theories, rumors and maybe a few facts that everyone already knows has been shared.
Unless they want a Wikipedia link to that Mark Winger case, or the occasional cliche about someone being locked in a cage they won't find anything useful. |
Why wouldn’t they look? LE/VA can take everything with a grain of salt, but it’s an active investigation and they’ve stated they’re looking for additional info from the community. Can’t hurt. As for BB, if he has time on his hands, this wouldn’t be the worst place to get a temperature read on how you’re being perceived. |
I agree about the law enforcement and yes, someone went way overboard with the Mark Winger link. It doesn't need to be posted daily. But I would not be surprised at all if BB is "aware" of this thread. |
Agree. This thread is important to follow from a perceived image for his attorney at least. That’s part of litigation research. |
No, that's the story that one poster (perhaps you?) has been pushing in an obsessive, creepy, and graphic way since this happened. Maybe it's true, maybe it's not, but it's clear that at least one person is getting off on thinking about it. |
No, it's the reason JR thought he was there, and his "meeting" of the Banfields on a fetish website was contained in court filings and news accounts re: the bond hearing. His friends have said as much here and elsewhere all along. They also claim he met the Banfields "recently" so the whole thing may have been a ruse and a lure, or maybe it was something they had done previously, more detail will come out later since it is something the Commonwealth asserted, along with the fact that the f$tlife profile was created in the Banfield home but they do not believe it was created by CB.
LE has had JR's electronics and the "side" that was sold to him since the day of the murders. Facts, not someone's fetish. Even AP's lawyer and mother have acknowledged as much.

Wonder if he will be arrested before her case goes to trial? Seemed like they were hoping to pressure her to cooperate, but her story is irreconcilable with the narrative of the Commonwealth. If she tries to just brazen it out when might they proceed with a case against him? Anyone with criminal law experience have a theory?
That detail about BB not being in the house when AP shot JR seems to be a really key point of difference. |
Does anybody know if the hearing in January is open to public? Anybody can go and watch? |
It should be. |
Don’t bank on this happening… he’ll be arrested or she’ll take a plea. |
Per online case info, Juliana has a hearing this am, 11/21 at 9:30. The judge had said they could try re-applying for bond in the future. So, we may get additional details. From the prior hearing, her version of events and that put forth by the Commonwealth, were irreconcilable. |
I honestly think she will brazen it out. Remember the Wone case, "story" made no sense, but, with all of them sticking to it, they skated. I certainly hope she will not be released. The whole point of inducing her to flip was to strengthen the case against BB. Hope they will have enough without her. |
The docket reflects a motion, not bond, hearing with result as "continued" so she is still being held. Preliminary hearing on the docket for 1/17. Maybe a local reporter can share more detail re: what happened in court today?

Finally caught up with the thread, here's my theory. Not as exciting as some others but seems to fit what I've heard of so far:
1) CB having an affair/relationship with JR 2) BB banging the AP 3) CB ends the affair, JR takes it badly 4) JR waits nearby the house until BB and AP leave and either lets himself in or is let in by CB 5) JR snaps and stabs CB 6) AP returns to the house, sees suspicious vehicle, calls BB who tells her to check on CB and where a weapon is 7) JR does not pose a threat to AP, but she shoots him anyway out of fear/panic 8) BB covers for AP thinking there would not be much scrutiny believing it was a home invasion + his weapon was not secured properly + #2 above |
LE refers to JR as a victim, PP, so I do not believe they think he was the stabber. The chief talked of holding someone "accountable" hard to do if deceased. |
