Favorite "bad" chain restaurants

Burger King - I love Whoppers. So horrible for you, but I crave them. It's the combination of the tomato and the condiments for me.

Denny's - there isn't one near me, but when we are on the road, we like to go there. Nothing fancy, but I have always had a good meal there. Everyone in my family can find something they like on the menu, and the price is reasonable.

Mmm, burger king pickles, onions, and ketchup. It's not even about the burger. Glad it's not just me who sees it tht way!

Shake shack for the shroom burger. The only portobello burger that deserves to be a portobello burger.

Went once, will never return. Everything swimming in fat and salt (is their a weight requirement of 300 lbs to let you in? We felt like outsiders, and I am not a skinny-minny). But I digress.

On road trips for us, for a quick sit-down meal, it's Denny's, Bob Evan's, IHOP or Waffle House. But there's no vacation road trip that we don't stop at Dairy Queen for Blizzards! Chock-fill of chemicals and junk food, and delicious.

Based on your list I assume you are 300 pounds. Cracker Barrel is at least one star above Denny's and IHOP.

If you eat at Denny’s, bob evans and IHOP you are both 300 lbs and 85 years old!

As an adult, I agree with a poster who said fast casual is fine, but I really don’t want to spend money on a bad restaurant meal with waitstaff. If I had to pick one, it would be California Pizza Kitchen or Pizzeria Uno.

Ooh, Pizzeria Uno! Good one. I grew up in Chicago and then went to college in a tiny town in WI and the Pizzeria Uno in town was my go to when I had cravings for traditional Chicago style deep dish. This was early 2000s so maybe it's changed but at least back then it was tasty!!!
