Your solid evidence is to pose a question that you think you have the answer to? Interesting. Again, what qualifies you and where are your facts? Yeah ... that's right, didn't think you had any ... |
What resume do you have to say I’m wrong? See how the game is played? Do you have a kid playing on scholarship? Have you gone through the process from beginning to end? My answer is, Yes. What’s yours? Let me answer: No You lack understanding of the basics which means there is no way you can remotely comprehend today’s landscape. I recently looked at a roster that had 6 grad students that transferred in, 7 5th year seniors who had been redshirted, 3 international players, and a couple of other transfers. Do you have any idea what that does to a future recruiting class? Money and spots are not available like before. I’m not an expert. I don’t pretend to be one. jmu womens soccer roster has 20 redshirts.
20! |
| “ jmu womens soccer roster has 20 redshirts.“ = game news |
| ...Fake news! |
So what does the R- means? (R-FR) |
| Every player who was on the team last year is technically a redshirt bc the NCAA didn’t count last year as a year of lost eligibility for any player due to Covid. All those “R-“ on the JMU roster are not players that red-shirted, that is just how JMU is choosing to list them on the roster. Every college in the country would have 20 Red shirts if they chose to display their school year that way. |
| Crickets? Hello? |
So why isn’t everyone listed as redshirt. And does it matter? The point is the same |
| If your point was that Covid created a ton of potential redshirts that could stay an extra year, then yes that is true. Seemed like you were pointing out that JMU had an unusually large number of redshirts compared to other schools and was just saying that wasn’t really the case. |
My point from the beginning was limited roster spots and money for incoming freshman. More so than ever |
| Agree not fake news then, I misunderstood your point |
