It wasn’t necessarily all at once. They likely left on Sunday morning and weren’t found until Tuesday morning. Dog was leashed to dad and baby couldn’t have survived on her own. I think it was the heat. The trail looks steep and a 1yo plus carrier probably adds at least 25-30 lbs. |
I mean, chainsaw in the woods makes a lot more sense than chainsaw in the city, no? |
But they collapsed all at once otherwise the mom would have made it farther and even to her car which was only 1.5 miles away. |
And the dog may have stayed with his family while they all died but he probably would have left and come back, rather than just lay down next to them and die. Just because there was a leash doesn't mean he couldn't have moved. But he didn't. |
I bet this is it |
Bogart/Chandler y'all. Sydney, Australia |
There was water in their canteen when they were found. No mention of it being river water. Would they know in a few days? |
Excuse me, Bogle-Chandler. If you don't look it up and read you don't deserve to comment. |
That's true. No time of death for any of the bodies has been released. I still don't think it was the heat. Not for everyone and the dog. The dog at the very least would not have died in 24 hours with no water. Would it have been severely dehydrated? Sure. But it would be alive. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2021/08/23/mariposa-family-death-mystery/ Timeline - Went hiking on Sunday, Aug. 15th - time unknown Reported officially missing on Mon, Aug. 16th around 10PM Sheriff found family's truck on Tues, Aug. 17th at 2AM Bodies located at on Tues, Aug. 17th at 11AM |
You could just post a link instead of being an ass. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bogle–Chandler_case |
wow, could be gas from river, but that's rare. |
But it was posted last page by someone, not me, and people went on without looking, which I thought was tragic |
Ah, okay. Apologies |
There would be vomiting I think? |
Oh at 1000 ppm it would be instant cardiac arrest. But does the river have HS? |
