It's not just the 3rd. MD is one of the absolute worst states. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th are all horrible distorted districts.

That said, despite it being one of the worst offenders, it is true that it is virtually the only Democratically gerrymandered states. All of the other top offenders are gerrymandered to be Republican leaning. It's amazing how there are significantly more Democratic voters in the US and yet the Republicans have so much more state-held power.

Reminder: The Virginia GOP decided that Riggleman wasn’t Trumpy enough so they picked another candidate, Bob Good, to run for his seat in a primary convention.
Bob Good was apparently sufficiently Trumpy as his staff members were among those who attacked the Capitol.
