| I heard that the results delayed since they have not been able to finalize for all the students. Many more students seem to have applied this year. |
Where did you hear this? |

Once again, if this is true, it should have been communicated way before now. Our school newsletter sent out today said “AAP School-Based Services (Level II-III) Referral Form due by April 23, 2021” It would make no sense to have level III deadline the same day as notification for level IV (or even close to that date) |
| This is insanely bad. FCPS continues to amaze me but I don’t know why I am ever surprised at their incompetence anymore. A simple communication would have sufficed. |
Because it makes so much more sense for them to have thousands of parents individually call vs sending out an email with any changes.... |
| They will send out a note after thousands of phone calls and emails. |
|
I hope parents can be patient and not all call that number! I wouldn't be surprised if they sent decisions after 5 pm today.
|
| So...nada? Hello? Anyone there? |
This is a complete lie. Results have already been communicated with local elementary schools. |
I would not doubt this is true, probably because with virtual school so many parents have seen how pathetically low the typical classroom curriculum is and have decided their kids need more challenging work. |
| FCPS does not work |
Students who apply for Level IV and are not accepted are automatically considered for Levels II and III, so it doesn’t affect it. |
| If someone has has contacted the AAP office don't mind posting their interaction/outcome here - it would greatly save the rest of us a lot of time. Thank you! |
I called the number above to reach a machine asking to leave my contact info for a call back. No luck. |
