| Not blaming them. If people want to buy it then someone is going to sell it. |
This is correct, at least for younger ECNL ages. NC games are postponed. Too many kids would have to quarantine once back from NC. Private school kids that attend in person. PVI kids, now that it has opened in Loudoun. The U17s and up did travel to FL but that was a showcase (with D2/3 coaches) vs. league games where college coaches don’t come. |
| This topic has mutated more than the UK Variant of the Coronavirus. |
| Will ECNL teams play friendlies in place of the postponed league games? |
The plan is to try to play the games later this spring. Not sure when, and what the criteria is, but buying time essentially. |
| Our ECNL team has had a ton of friendlies, and against GA teams too. It’s nice to be able to mix things up and play other teams they wouldn’t ordinarily play because of the league difference. |
+1 not all ECNL teams are dong that. Would be nice so that you can see a higher pressure game and test out players in new positions. And friendlys are just that, friendlies that don’t count towards anything but testing players in new positions with higher pressure. |

Lol. Higher pressure games? Yeah. Okay |
| The Mid-Atlantic schedule is being revised and should be out this Wed or Thurs on the website. |
NC is r4efusing to travel up here if VA doesn't travel to NC. Not sure about SC |
| It’s supposed to snow next week-and is bitterly cold with wind chills. Between the weather and Covid, hopefully they will delay the remainder of ECNL games to the spring (March and April). |
Soccer is played year round outside and there is plenty gear available to athletes to do so comfortably. |
Ummmm, what about High School soccer? See the thing is, ECNL will not delay these games because they are scheduled in January and February to accommodate the HS season. |
