FCV girls GA U15 - U18 (4 teams) out of the entire club are the best in their gender/age groups in the area. That is probably true. The rest of the club is worthless. They are cellar dwellers in boys and in girls NPL. Those 4 teams are great due to the fact that they had ECNL before DA, then stole Loudoun’s best players during the merger and post merger as they got DA. Now DA is over and they will come back to earth. Simple as that. CZ knew this which is why he sold. BTW have the Loudoun ECNL 07s and FCV 07s played each other in the last year? Why not? Why are both coaches and clubs so cowardice? Strap on a pair and let’s have the game, so we can see if the last hooray for FCV elite girls is all they think it is.

FCV U15-U18 are not the best in their age group in the area. However, their teams are good. Their U16 team is the best....thats about it....and thats because of the age change and merger with Loudoun allowed for that. CZ did not sell for the reason you said.

Listen....let's be real......FCV is certainly a club with good teams who could easily compete with Richmond in ECNL.......but because of politics that is not going to happen anytime soon. It honestly doesn't matter how good they are, but Loudoun (and probably other ECNL teams) is not going to greenlight them (and yes they would need to).

FCV is ranked higher than Loudoun in every age group from U13 to U18! And no I'm not talking about lame GotSoccer points.

Can't wait til 07s play each other. A lot of Loudoun parents sure seem to base everything on just the 2007 and 2008 years. After 07s lose, I guess the focus will be on 09s, lol.

I've often wondered how it's possible that FCV 07 DA/GA and Loudoun 07 ECNL (which arguably are the two best 07 teams in NoVA, anyway) have managed to avoid playing each other for so long. Even when they play in the same tournaments, they're almost *always* in different brackets.
