I don't know anything about Kelly Preston and find it so sad she died so young. I was diagnosed with stage 1 lobular cancer at age 45. I was a big partier in college and a heavy drinker after, but no drugs, and I think the drinking caused my cancer. No BRCA or other history. |

Decades? How is it that children get diagnosed with cancer then? |
My first thought after being bummed she passed. |
sorry - decades in adults. kids are different, absolutely. |

I have a friend who was diagnosed at stage 4 and has been living with it as a chronic illness for 10+ years. It varies so much.

| I have been on DCUM and Facebook all day and didn't see this. WTF. |
Well, I suppose you two can split the award for Least Amount of Empathy. |
You have no idea of what my other emotions are. It’s possible to mourn and ponder that. It’s honest rather than pious. |
Yes it does. Did Scientology keep her from getting the best treatment? |
My mother, a teetotaler her entire life, got breast cancer. No BRCA. Never smoked either... never even ate processed food. |
I don’t know. Travolta is hard core Scientology. They teach people that illness is a lack of faith. Scientology is pure evil and the abuse of children is on par with the Catholic Church and yet everyone feels sorry for this family. |
They only believe in not getting psychiatric treatment... everything else is a go |
| He thanked her team at Anderson Cancer Center in I think Houston. |
| Well don't they say cancer is actually many different diseases and obviously there are multiple pathways. "The Emperor of all Maladies" was a great documentary, based on book of same name. |
