I don't speak Korean so I need some help on this. When do the leads change from a formal address to an informal one? Do they add things at the end of names in Korean to make it "cutsey," like in other languages? For example, I thought Yoon Se-ri's father say "Seria." But maybe I didn't hear it right.

I'm still obsessing over Hyun Bin. Brain turns to jelly when I see a pic of him. That will need to subside before I can watch another K-drama. Currently looking at a selection of cashmere coats to make my husband look like him. But he doesn't have the hair.....sigh........LOL. |
The -a ending is added to names when speaking to someone younger. |
Wow I loved this article, thank you! |
It’s so interesting that 90% of the writers are women versus Hollywood which is less than a quarter. |
Thanks to seeing a reference here, I just watched this show. I am so glad I found it -- I needed something heartwarming. I cried my eyes out. What a meaningful show. |
Such a lovely series. I’ve started MANY k-dramas since finishing CL and haven’t found anything that comes close. |
I love this series! |
Just breath taking. |
So cheesy but loved it! Blush |

Thank you for this rec. Amazing. |
I just finished episode 14. Omg I’m crying and laughing out loud for every episode. Love this series and will be sad when it ends. |
I happily watched it again as I don’t speak Korean. Picked up even more gems the second time around. |
it's better the 2nd time |
